UID also otherwise known as Aadhaar number is the Unique Identification Number given by UIDAI. It is required to be seeded with a bank account in which the scholarship amount is desired to be transferred. Also the students need to provide the UID number at the time of national scholarship portal registration.
Yes, it is possible to edit all details except personal details while registering on NSP. However, once the application is finally submitted, it cant be edited further.
The process of recollection of temporary/permanent ID is to visit the student's login page and click on forgot registration details. Thereafter, the students need to enter the basic fields and click on Get registration details.
The applicant should immediately approach the institute to contact the nodal officer of the State in which the institute is located. If the institute is eligible, the State Government would enter it into the database and then the applicant will be able to apply.
The applicant can go to the login page and choose Student login to enter the user dashboard. Then, he/she can click on Check your status button to check the application status.
