Nabanna Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Nabanna scholarship, a student needs to fulfil the following eligibility requirements:
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- Must be studying in an institution located within West Bengal after passing the Secondary or equivalent, Higher Secondary or equivalent, or Undergraduate examination from a recognized Board, Council, or University in the state.
- For financial assistance at the Higher Secondary or Undergraduate level, the applicant must have secured at least 50% but less than 60% aggregate marks in the Madhyamik (or equivalent) or Higher Secondary (or equivalent) examination, respectively.
- For assistance at the Postgraduate level, the applicant must have obtained at least 50% but less than 53% aggregate marks in the Undergraduate examination.
- The annual family income must not exceed ₹1,20,000.
- The applicant must not be receiving any other government or non-government scholarship or stipend for the same stage of study.
- An applicant can register only once within a 365-day period.

Registration
Step 1: Visit the Official Nabanna Website.
Step 2: Click on the “Apply For Financial Assistance for Education” button present at the bottom of the homepage.

Step 4: First enter your phone number and click on the “Send OTP” button.
