Telangana Pre Matric Scholarships For SC/ST/BC/PWD Students
The Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), and Person with Disabilities (PWD) category students can apply for Telangana Pre Matric Scholarship.
Eligibility
- Students must be residents of Telangana.
- Annual family income must be below ₹2,00,000.
- The student shouldn’t be a beneficiary of any other centrally-funded Pre-Matric scholarship.
- Pre-matric scholarship is available for students studying in Classes 5 to 10.
- The students must be studying in a school run by Mandal Praja Parishad, Zilla Praja Parishad, Municipalities, Municipal Corporations or the government
Note: The caste and income certificate must be issued by “Mee-Seva” Counters and signed digitally.
Telangana Post Matric Scholarships For SC/ST/BC/PWD Students
The Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), EBC (Economically Backward Classes), and Person with Disabilities (PWD) category students can apply for this scholarship.
- Students must be residents of Telangana.
- Annual family income should be below ₹2,00,000 (for SC/ST students), below INR 1,50,000 (for BC/EBC/PWD students of rural areas), and below ₹2,00,000 for BC/EBC/PWD students residing in the urban areas.
- The student must have passed Class 10 with a minimum of 75% marks.
- Post matric scholarship is available for students studying in Classes 5 to 10.
Telangana Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC/EBC Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship
The Backward Classes (BC) and EBC (Economically Backward Classes) category students can apply for Telangana Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC/EBC Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship.
Eligibility
- Students must be residents of Telangana.
- Annual family income of student must be below ₹5,00,000.
- Students must have scored a minimum of 60% in graduation.
- Students’ maximum age must be 35 years.
- Students who want to pursue postgraduation, M.Phil, or Phd abroad can apply.

Telangana Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Minorities
Eligibility
- Students must be residents of Telangana.
- Annual family income of the student must be below ₹2,00,000.
- Students must have scored a minimum of 60% in postgraduation
- Students’ maximum age must be 30 years.
- Students who want to pursue postgraduation, M.Phil, or Ph.D from abroad can apply.
Telangana Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship for SC/ST Students
The students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) category can apply for Telangana Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship for SC/ST Students.
Eligibility
- Students must belong to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) category
- Annual family income of students must be below ₹5,00,000.
- Only one child from a family can apply for the scholarship.
- Students can study in the following countries – USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Germany, New Zealand, Japan, France and South Korea.
- The students must have scored 60% at graduation and a 260 score on GRE, 500 on GMAT, 60 on TOEFL, 6.0 on IELTS, and 50 on PTE .

- For Classes 5 to 8 – Students will receive ₹100 (boys) and ₹150 (girls) for 10 months
- For Classes 9 and 10 (day scholars) – Students will receive ₹150 per month for 10 months and ₹750 per annum (for books)
- For Classes 9 and 10 (hostlers) – Students will receive ₹350 per month for 10 months and ₹1,000 per annum (for books)

- The students will receive a reimbursement of tuition fees (annual) ranging from ₹850 for the intermediate course to ₹6,90,000 for medical courses

- Education loan of ₹10,00,000
