Delhi Scholarship 2023-24 – Eligibility

To be able to avail of the scholarship benefits, a candidate must first fulfil all the eligibility conditions listed below by the scholarships and each Delhi scholarship carries different eligibility criteria.

Merit Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC Students, Delhi

Career Assessment Test

  • Applicant must be an Indian citizen and domicile of Delhi
  • The candidate must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) category
  • Students must be studying at the post-matric level in a recognised college or professional/technical institution
  • Students must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the previous academic year
  • The annual family income should be less than ₹3,00,000 per annum (in the case of the SC/ST category income ceiling is not applicable)

Reimbursement of Tuition Fee for SC/ST/OBC, Delhi

  • Applicants must have a domicile in Delhi
  • The students should belong to the Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST) community
  • The students must be enrolled in Class 1 to 12 in a school recognized/affiliated with the Department of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi/Municipal local bodies of Delhi
  • Applicants must have scored 50% or above in the previous class examination and have not less than 70% attendance in the preceding year
  • The annual family income should not be not more than ₹3,00,000

Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Delhi

  • The applicants must be an Indian citizen and domicile of Delhi
  • Students must belong to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category
  • The applicants must be studying in Classes 9 or 10 in Government recognised schools and have passed the previous class
  • Student must have obtained at least 75% attendance in the previous year
  • The annual family income should be less than ₹2,50,000 per annum from all sources

Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students, Delhi

  • Applicants must have a domicile in Delhi and belong to the Scheduled Tribes (ST) category
  • Students must be studying at post-matriculation/post-secondary (college/university) in the government-recognised institution
  • The annual family income should not be more than ₹2,50,000
  • Students must have secured an attendance of at least 75% in the previous year

Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Delhi

  • Applicants must be an Indian national and domiciled in Delhi
  • Students must belong to the Other Backward Class (OBC) category
  • The candidate must be studying at the post-matriculation/post-secondary level of studies in a government-recognised institution/college/university within India
  • The annual parent(s)/guardian income should not be more than ₹2,50,000
  • Applicants must have secured an attendance of at least 75% in the previous year

Buddy4Study - Education Loan

  • Applicants must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Other Backward Class (OBC) community
  • Students must have passed Class 10 and 12 from a recognised institution located in Delhi
  • The candidates must be studying in a professional/technical degree course in a state/central university of Delhi
  • Students must have achieved top marks in the final year exams of their respective studies
