Telangana ePASS Scholarship 2024-25: Types of Scholarship Programmes

The eligibility criteria for post-matric scholarships are as follows:

- Students from SC/ST/BC/EBC/Disabled Welfare categories residing in the State of Telangana
- Students pursuing post-matriculation or post-secondary courses in recognised institutions/Universities/Colleges in India.
- Annual family income of the applicants from the following sections is as follows:
- Less than ₹2,00,000 for SC/ST students
- Less than ₹1,50,000 for BC/EBC/PWD students of rural areas
- Less than ₹2,00,000 for BC/EBC/PWD students residing in the urban areas

Telangana ePASS Scholarship 2024-25: Fresh Registrations
The stepwise process for fresh registrations for students from ST/BC/EBC/DW/Minority categories is as follows:
- Go to the official link for Telangana post-matric scholarships and click on Fresh Registrations for ST, BC, EBC, DW, Minority
- This will take you to the fresh application form for 2024-25 where you need to tick all the checkboxes to proceed further.
- You will be directed to a page to fill in the required details and proceed further with the scholarship application.
Fresh Registrations for SC Students:
The registration process meant for the SC students has changed for the year 2024-25. The process mentioned thereof is same for both fresh and renewal for day scholar and CAH (College Attached Hostels) students. The complete process involves three basic steps:
The applicants need to visit the Telangana epass website and click on the link provided for fresh/renewal application as for SC students.
Hereafter, they need to adhere to the following steps:
Demo Authentication: In this step the applicants have to match their name in the Aadhaar with the one provided in the SSC certificate. Enter the SSC details such as Hall Ticket Number, Date of Birth, SSC Pass Year and Pass Type.
The fresh applicants can fill in their details once their demo authentication is successful.
After the selection of college details and submission of the application, an application ID will be generated (only if DEMO AUTH is successful) for the academic year 2024-25. This leads to completion of the 1st step in the registration process.
(Note: The application procedure will not move further if the DEMO AUTH process fails. In this case, the applicant needs to visit the “MeeSeva” (Aadhar) centre to update the name in the AADHAR card as per SSC.)
For renewal of their registrations, students must first fill in their details as shown below. The application details will be displayed as shown in the following images.
Biometric Authentication: The applicants whose DEMO AUTH is successful, need to visit the nearest “MeeSeva” centre to give Aadhar biometric/IRIS authentication details for both fresh applications and renewal. After completion of biometric/IRIS authentication students should visit the ePASS website for completion of application form.

Completion of Registration: Students can complete their registrations by visiting the registration page and filling in all the details. The student also has to submit the same application form at the college for its verification. The pendency report at each level will be enabled in respective district and college logins.

- Students of Telangana who have completed graduation with 60% marks or equivalent grade in qualifying examination.

The scholarship scheme aims at supporting meritorious students from Backward Classes (BC) and Economically Backward Classes (EBC). - Age limit of the applicants should be 30 years at the time of advertisement.

Expenses Covered:
- Applicable fees shall be payable in two instalments as follows:
- Instalment-I: ₹10 lakh or the actual fee (whichever is less) shall be payable to the students upon production of the landing permit/I-94 Card (Immigration Card);
- Instalment-II: ₹10 lakh or the actual fee (whichever is less) shall be payable to the students upon production of the result of the 1st semester.
- The amount will be sanctioned to the individual towards fees and living expenses by way of a grant subject to his/her joining the course, which shall be issued to the candidates selected by the Selection Committee. The sanction proceedings can be made use of by the candidates for obtaining a Visa from the respective embassy.
- The applicants shall be eligible for an educational loan from any Nationalised Bank at the prevailing rates of interest.
- The awardees are permitted to supplement their prescribed allowances by undertaking a Research/Teaching Assistantship.
- One-way ticket fare shall be paid to the selected students.

This scheme helps students meet the costs incurred on coaching for international exams such as GRE/GMAT/TOEFL/IELTS for admission to various post graduate courses in foreign universities. Eligibility Criteria:
- This is applicable to students of Telangana belonging to SC/ST categories.
- Graduates and students pursuing studies in the final year of their qualifying examination are eligible to apply.

The main objective behind the Pre-Matric Scholarships is to reduce the dropout rate of students especially while transitioning from the elementary to the secondary stage. It provides a modest incentive to SC/ST/ BC/PwD students of Grade 5 to 10.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Day scholars attending government schools or in schools run by the local bodies such as Mandal Praja Parishad, Zilla Praja Parishad, Municipalities, Municipal Corporations or any school aided by the State government of Telangana.
- The applicants should belong to SC/ST/BC/PWD categories.
- Annual family income of the applicants should be less than ₹2,00,000.
- Applicants should not be getting any other centrally funded Pre-Matric Scholarship.
