About The Program
Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students, Uttarakhand 2024-25 is an initiative of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttarakhand, to provide financial assistance to Class 11 and above students. This scholarship helps needy students belonging to the ST category in the continuation of their studies. The selected students will receive a maintenance allowance of up to ₹1,200 per month.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an Indian national
- be domiciled in Uttarakhand
- belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category
- be studying in Class 11 and above in a recognized university, technical, management, or medical institution
- have passed the previous year's examination
- have a family income of less than ₹2,50,000 per annum
Note:- Students should not be enrolled in more than one institution.

How can you apply?
Eligible students can apply by following these steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Students' option on the left-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Now, click on the 'Login' button under the OTR option as it is required to apply for a scholarship on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
Step 5: Click on the 'New user? Register yourself' on the left-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 6: Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox, and click on the 'Next' button.
Step 7: Enter a functional mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit to complete the registration process.
Step 8: Fill in the required details and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the 'One-time registration (OTR)' process. (Note:- This is a temporary registration number, students need to download the OTR mobile application for face authentication to complete the OTR process.)
Step 9: After successful registration, navigate to the 'Apply for Scholarship' option and click on the 'Login' button.
Step 10: Select the scholarship, fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit.
Note:- All the applicants are advised to fill in the information correctly on the application form. Once the application is submitted, no changes can be made. Additionally, submitting multiple applications will result in disqualification.

Terms and Conditions
- The scholarship amount will be given from the admission date to the examination of the last academic year. If a student has been admitted after 20 days of that month, then the scholarship amount will be given from the next month.
- The scholarship amount will be transferred to the CBS account of the recipients through online mode.
- Students domiciled in one State/UT but holding an ST certificate of another State/UT can avail of the scholarship in the State/UT from which the ST certificate was issued.
- The scholarship of a student will be cancelled in case of discontinuation of studies due to personal reasons or in case of false information provided in the online
- application.
