Uttarakhand Scholarship – Key Eligibility

Are you a domicile or permanent resident of Uttarakhand state? If yes, then you surely are a contender for Uttarakhand scholarship. 3.Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students, UttarakhandSTThe scholarship is applicable for students studying in class 11 to the postdoctoral level who have passed the last qualifying examination.

The annual income of the family should be less than INR 2,50,000.

The candidates who are already in receipt of any other scholarship are not eligible to apply.

4.Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students (State/Center Sector), UttarakhandSCThe scholarship is open for students of class 1 to 10.

It is mandatory to have passed the last qualifying examination.

The annual income of the family for students of class 9 and 10 should not exceed INR 2 Lakh.

There is no income limit for students of class 1 to 8.

5.Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students (State and Central Sector), UttarakhandOBCThe scholarship is open for students of class 1 to 10 who are studying at a recognised school within the state.

They must have passed the last qualifying examination.

The annual income of the family should not be more than INR 44,500.

6.Pre-Matric Disability Scholarship (State Sector), UttarakhandFor allThe students with a disability who are studying in class 1 to 10 at a recognised school within or outside the state can apply for this scholarship.

They must have passed the last qualifying examination.

The annual income of the family should not exceed INR 24,000.

7.Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students (State/Center Sector), UttarakhandSTThe students of class 1 to 10 are eligible for this scholarship.

They must be studying in a recognised school within the state and have passed the last qualifying examination.

The annual income of the family should not exceed INR 2 Lakh from all sources (for students of class 9 and 10).

For students of class 1 to 8, no income criteria are applicable.

9.Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minority (100 percent State Sector), UttarakhandMinority communityThe students belonging to any of the following minority groups can apply –

They must be studying in class 1 to 10 at a recognised institution within the state.

They must have passed the last qualifying examination.

The annual income of the family should be less than twice of current income slab of below poverty line.

Uttarakhand Scholarship – Application Process

Since all the scholarships are being offered by the Social Welfare Department of Government of Uttarakhand, the application process to follow for each Uttarakhand scholarship remains the same. You can apply for any of these scholarships online only through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), a one-stop scholarship application portal run by the Government of India. To apply for the scholarships, you need to primarily register on the NSP and then apply for the desired scholarship either under the pre-matric category or post-matric category.
