Tripura Scholarship – Eligibility

What are the key eligibility conditions that you need to follow to apply for any of the Tripura scholarships? 3.	Pre-Matric Scholarships Scheme for ST, Tripura	ST	The students of class 9 and 10 are eligible to apply for this scholarship. They must be studying full-time in a government or government recognised school. The annual family income should not exceed INR 2 Lakh.
4.	Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for EBC, Tripura	General	The students pursuing studies at the post-matriculation level (class 11 to postdoctoral level) can apply for this scholarship. The annual income of their family should not exceed INR 1 Lakh from all sources.
5.	Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Tripura	OBC	The applicants must be pursuing studies at post matriculation level to apply for this scholarship. The annual income of the parents/guardian should not exceed INR 1.5 Lakh.
6.	NEC Merit Scholarship, Tripura	For all	This scholarship is available for students pursuing technical/ professional/ management/ MPhil/ PhD courses. The minimum percentage of marks to be secured by the students in the last qualifying examination is 70% (for general category students) and 60% (for SC and ST students). The annual income of the family should be less than INR 4.5 Lakh from all sources.
7.	Pre-Matric SC (Class 9 &  10) Scholarship, Tripura	For SC	The students must be studying in class 9 and 10. They must be studying full-time in a government or government recognised school. The annual family income should not exceed INR 2 Lakh.

8.	Dr Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for EBC (Secondary Education) Tripura	General	The students studying in class 11 and 12 can apply for this scholarship. The annual income of their family should not exceed INR 1 Lakh from all sources.
9.	Pre-Matric SC Cleaning and Health Hazard Scholarship, Tripura	SC	The scholarship is open for children of persons who are manual scavengers. The students must be enrolled in class 1 to 10.

NEC Merit Scholarship, Tripura

The Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Tripura runs this scholarship for students of Technical/ Professional/ Management/ M.Phil./ PhD courses. The selected students will get a stipend of up to INR 30,000 per annum. The objective of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the students of Tripura to pursue higher education.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for EBC, Tripura

Run by the Government of Tripura, this scholarship is meant for general category students who are studying in class 11 to postdoctoral level with annual family income of not more than INR 1 Lakh. The scholarship comprises maintenance allowance, reader charges, reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees and thesis typing and printing charges. The scholarship aims at enabling economically backward students to complete their studies.

Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for SC, Tripura

This scholarship is given by the Government of Tripura to scheduled caste students who are studying in class 11 to post-graduation having annual parental income not greater than INR 2.5 Lakh. The objective of this scholarship is to provide financial aids to these students.

Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Tripura

Applicable for the students belonging to Other Backward Classes, this scholarship offers variable financial assistance to students who are studying in class 11 to postdoctoral level. The annual family income of these students must not exceed INR 1.5 lakh per annum.

Pre-Matric Scholarships Scheme for ST, Tripura

This scholarship is open for the ST students belonging to Tripura state. The students must be studying in class 9 or 10 and annual family income must not be greater than INR 2 Lakh per annum. The selected candidate will get the scholarship and other allowances for ten months.
