Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program Eligibility
For the Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program 2025-26, students should meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Confirmed admission or enrollment in the first year (academic year 2025-2026) of the UG or 5-year integrated courses in the fields of Electronics & Communication, Telecom, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Aerospace and Emerging Technologies (AI, IoT, AR/VR, Machine Learning, Robotics) at one of the top 50 NIRF-ranked engineering colleges. - Must be a citizen and resident of India.
- The annual family income from all sources should not exceed ₹8.5 lakh.
- Applicants must not be receiving any other scholarships or grants for the same purpose from the Bharti Airtel Foundation.
- Preference will be given to students who are girls, persons with disabilities, belong to single-parent or no-parent families, or identify as transgender.
Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program 2025-26 Awards
- 100% of the annual fees, as per the course fee structure of the respective university/institute, is covered by the Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program 2025-26.
- The scholarship is available for the full duration of undergraduate and integrated courses, up to 5 years, subject to meeting the renewal criteria.
- Hostel and mess fees will be provided to all eligible students who apply for them.
- For students residing in private accommodations or off-campus hostels, funds will be disbursed based on the hostel/mess charges of the university/institute (whichever is lower).
- A laptop will be provided to all Bharti Scholars in the first year of the course. Students are responsible for the safety and security of the laptop, and no replacements will be provided.
- Upon successful graduation and gainful employment, Bharti Scholars are expected to voluntarily support at least one student at the school or college level on a continuing basis. This initiative fosters a culture of giving back and aims to empower future generations through education.
Note:
- All sundry and refundable expenses, including but not limited to JOSAA counselling fees, library fees, refundable security deposits, internet fees, breakage charges, laundry charges, or any other mid-year institute requirements, will be borne by the scholar.
- If any information provided by the student or their parents/guardians is found to be false, the application will be rejected. If discovered at a later stage, the scholarship will be revoked, and the scholar or their parents/guardians will be required to reimburse all disbursed funds, including the return of the laptop issued under the program.

Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program Renewal Process
Students selected for the Bharti Airtel Scholarship Program 2025-26 can apply for renewal of the scholarship. They must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Proof of course continuity and promotion to the next academic year.
- Minimum CGPA of 6.0 in the previous academic year or equivalent as per the grading system of the university/institute (subject to availability of results).
- Minimum 75% attendance throughout the year, certified by the university/institute.
- A letter from the university/institute confirming that no disciplinary action has been taken against the scholar or that there have been no reports of misconduct.
- Institutes are expected to share the performance, attendance, and conduct records of Bharti Scholars.
- Dropping out of a top 50 NIRF-ranked (Engineering) institute in subsequent years will not affect the renewal eligibility of existing scholars.
Note:
- If a scholar secures a CGPA of 6 but has a backlog in one or more subjects, the scholarship will continue until the scholar fails, is not promoted to the next semester, or does not maintain the required CGPA of 6.
- For renewal of scholarships in Semesters 3, 5, and 7, if the CGPA of the previous year is not available, tuition fees, including hostel and mess fees, will be paid. Once the CGPA is submitted and meets the eligibility criteria, the scholarship will continue.
- In special circumstances where scholars pay the fees to meet college deadlines, the amount can be reimbursed.
- If the renewal conditions are not met, the scholarship will be withdrawn.
