Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana 2024 – This scheme has been started by the government of Bihar to provide scholarships to female students of the state. Under this scheme, the state government will provide ₹25,000 to meritorious girls who have secured first-division marks in Class 12 from the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB).

• The Government of Bihar has started the Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana to encourage girls to higher education and make them self-reliant. 
• Under this scheme, ₹ 25,000 will be given to female students who have secured first division in their Class 12 result as an incentive amount for higher education. 

Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana 2024: Eligibility

• The applicants must be female.
• The candidates must be a native of the Bihar state.
• Only two girls from one family will be deemed eligible to apply for this scheme.
• The candidates’ parents must not be working as a government employee.
• The students must belong to the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category.
• The candidates must have secured first division in Class 12.
• Only those candidates who have passed Class 12 in the year 2023 will be deemed eligible for the scholarship.
