Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi
The Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi is a fund contributed quarterly by students of Kendriya Vidyalayas for the development and maintenance of the schools. It is also known as the School Development Fund. VVN funds support infrastructure upgrades, educational resources, student activities, and teacher development, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience for all KV students.

Children of Armed Forces and Paramilitary personnel killed or disabled in service are eligible for fee exemption. This includes:
- Children of personnel killed or disabled in the wars of 1962, 1965, and 1971.
- Children of personnel killed or disabled in Operation Meghdoot (Siachen) and Operation Vijay (Kargil).
- Children of personnel killed/missing/disabled in counter-insurgency operations (within India or abroad), with a certificate from the concerned Ministry.
Eligible children can avoid paying tuition fees, Principal’s Virtual Personal Interactive charges
(PVPI), and computer fund charges.
- Children of parents living below the poverty line: Families with up to two children with a valid BPL card are eligible.
- Students with disabilities: Eligible for fee exemption, subject to specific conditions.
- Girls in Class 6 and above: Girls who are the only child in their family are exempted from VVN contribution.

Online Mode:
Through the Union Bank of India (UBI):
Step 1: Visit the Union Bank of India (UBI) website or mobile app.

Through UPI: The NPCI Bharat BillPay Ltd. (NBBL), a subsidiary of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), on Thursday, announced that the students of Kendriya Vidyalayas in India can now pay their school fees via BHIM UPI or Bharat BillPay-enabled UPI mobile apps like Google Pay or PhonePe. The collaboration has been enabled by the Union Bank of India.

Through cash/cheque deposit at Union Bank of India (UBI) branch:
Step 1: Visit the nearest Union Bank of India (UBI) branch.
Step 2: Fill the fee challan form available at the branch.
Step 3: Deposit the cash or cheque along with the challan form at the counter.
Through Demand Draft:
Step 1: Prepare a Demand Draft in the favor of ‘Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.’
Step 2: Send the Demand Draft along with the fee challan form to the school office.
