KV Fees Structure 2025 – Tuition, Lab, Library, Exam Fee

The Kendriya Vidyalaya fee structure is designed to provide affordable education to students across India. As central government schools under the Ministry of Education, Kendriya Vidyalayas follow a transparent and uniform fee model that applies nationwide, with minor variations depending on location or category exemptions. The structure includes components such as tuition fees, computer fund, Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi (VVN), lab fee, library fee, and exam fee, which are either paid monthly or annually. For most students, the monthly tuition fee remains highly economical compared to private institutions, making KVs one of the most accessible schooling options in the country. Special fee exemptions are available for girls, SC/ST students, children of KVS staff, and wards of armed forces and paramilitary personnel.
