Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students (Class 9 & 10), Assam 2023-24 is an initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, to financially support ST children of the state who are studying in Class 9 and 10. This scholarship support aims to decrease dropouts of ST students, particularly during the transition from elementary to secondary education. The selected candidates will receive a monthly scholarship of up to ₹525 for 10 months and an ad-hoc grant of up to ₹1,000.

Note:- To receive disability allowance under the Act, a student's disability must be confirmed by a government medical authority. This includes leprosy-cured individuals and students with sickle cell anemia or thalassemia, provided they have the necessary medical certificate.

Eligible students can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' link below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Applicant Corner' and click on the 'New Registration' tab.
Step 4: Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox, and click on the 'Continue' button.
Step 5: Enter mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit.
Step 6: Fill in the required details and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the registration process.
Step 7: Now click on the 'Fresh Application' tab and log in using the application ID and password.
Step 8: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents, and submit the application.
Note:- All the applicants are advised to fill out the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill in only one application as multiple applications will cancel the form.
