  • Students must have an annual parental/family income of not more than ₹4,50,000.

Note: This scholarship is not applicable to students in distance education, correspondence, or diploma programs. Scholarship recipients who have taken transfer to a different college or university will remain eligible if their new program qualifies under the scholarship guidelines and their new institution has a valid All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) code.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be between 17 and 22 years old in age.
  • Students must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in one of the following disciplines:

Students pursuing degrees in fields outside of this defined scope are ineligible for consideration. Similarly, this initiative does not extend to individuals undertaking their studies through open universities or distance learning programs. Finally, only applicants who have completed their Class 12 examinations in the current academic year will be considered eligible.

Buddy4Study - Education Loan

Benefits: Under the INSPIRE Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE), a monthly amount of ₹5,000, totaling ₹60,000 annually, in addition to a mentorship grant of ₹20,000 per year.

Application Process: Applications are invited on the official DST portal during the start of the academic year. Students meeting the eligibility criteria can apply from the portal.

AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls

AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls is an initiative by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) with a primary objective to encourage and support meritorious female students to pursue technical education at the diploma and degree levels in AICTE-approved institutions. It recognizes that empowering women through technical education is crucial for their overall development and contribution to the nation.  

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Open for female Indian nationals.
  • The applicant has been admitted to the first year of a diploma or degree program at an AICTE-approved institution OR
  • The applicant has been admitted to the second year of a diploma or degree program through lateral entry at an AICTE-approved institution for the respective year.
  • The applicant’s family’s annual income is less than ₹8,00,000.
  • Up to two female members from the applicant’s family are eligible for this scholarship.

Benefits: Selected students will receive an annual scholarship of ₹50,000 intended to cover expenses such as college fees, the purchase of computers, laptops, and software, stationery and books, as well as necessary equipment for their studies.

Note: Please note that this scholarship is limited to tuition fees, and does not include provisions for hostel, medical, or other supplementary expenses.
