About The Program

Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulk Shishyavrutti Yojna, Maharashtra 2024-25 is an initiative of the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Maharashtra, to provide financial assistance to students at the graduate and postgraduate levels. The scholarship aims to support students belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category in Maharashtra. Selected students will receive up to 100% coverage of tuition and exam fees.

EligibilityDeadline Date : 31-Mar-2025

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • be a domicile of Maharashtra
  • be pursuing a professional or non-professional course approved by the Director of Higher Education (DHE) at a government or government-aided university/college
  • have taken admission under the General or Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) category
  • have an annual family income of up to ₹8,00,000

The following applicants are ineligible to apply for this scheme:-

  • Students who are receiving benefits from any other scholarship or stipend
  • Students enrolled in distance learning, virtual learning, or part-time courses

Note:-

  • Applicants from the Maharashtra-Karnataka border area can apply for the scheme.
  • Courses approved by the government, universities, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Council of Architecture (COA), Medical Council of India (MCI), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), etc., are eligible under this scheme.

  • Domicile Certificate issued by an authorised official
  • Annual Income Certificate of the previous year issued by an authorised official
  • Centralised Admission Process (CAP) related document (applicable for B.Ed., Law, M.P.Ed., B.P.Ed. students)
  • Gap-related document (if applicable)
  • Family declaration certificate regarding two children
  • Attendance certificate
  • Marksheet of the previous year
How can you apply?

Eligible applicants can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'New Applicant Registration' button at the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Fill in all required details, verify the email and the phone number, enter the captcha and click on the  'Register' button.
Step 5: After successfully registering on the portal, click on the 'Applicant login' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
Step 6: Log in using the username and password. 
Step 7: Fill in the necessary details, upload the required documents, and submit.

Selection Criteria

The candidates will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.

  • Students who have already received this scholarship in the previous year can apply for its renewal.
  • Students should not have a gap of 2 years during the course.
  • The applicant must have attempted all annual or semester exams.
  • The first two children of a family can apply for this scholarship.
