  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
  • The applicant must be the son or daughter of a registered beneficiary of the Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board (OB&OCWWB), with a minimum of one year of continuous registration.
  • The applicant must be enrolled in Class 9 or above, or pursuing ITI, ITC, polytechnic, diploma, or other recognised technical or vocational courses in an institution located in Odisha.
  • The applicant must have secured at least 50% marks in the previous qualifying examination. Higher academic performance may improve the chances of selection.
  • The applicant must not be availing any other major government scholarship for the same course.
  • The scholarship is open to candidates from all categories, including SC, ST, OBC, SEBC, and unreserved. However, priority may be given to applicants from backward and disadvantaged categories, as per government norms.

Note: A valid and active BOCW registration of the parent is mandatory at the time of application.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Odisha Scholarship Portal at scholarship.odisha.gov.in/website/home and navigate to the “Schemes” option at the top of the dashboard and click on it.
