Scholarships for North-East Students 2022 – Central Govt Scholarships
The scholarship is open only to students who are permanent residents of any of the North-eastern states
Scholarships shall be admissible to students who get admission in diploma and degree
The candidate should be a postgraduate or has registered for M.Phil. / Ph.D course in any institute recognized by the government. The grant of scholarship for M.Phil and Ph.D would be given after the registration of students.
The scholarship will not be available for internship or any practical training.
The scholarship shall be admissible to the students whose parent/guardian’s annual income from all sources is within INR 8 lakhs.
Students should belong to the Scheduled Caste category.
Their parent/guardian’s income should not exceed INR 2.50 lakh per year.
They should not be getting any other Centrally-funded Pre Matric Scholarship.
He/ she should be a regular, full time student studying in a government school or school recognized by the government or a central/state board of secondary education.
Scholarships for studying in any class will be available for only one year. If a student has to repeat a class, he/she would not get a scholarship for that class for a second (or subsequent) year.
