About The Program
PM Yasasvi Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Manipur 2026-27 is an opportunity provided by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, for Other Backwards Classes (OBC) students of Manipur. The scholarship aims to provide educational opportunities to socio-economically disadvantaged students. Selected students will receive a consolidated academic allowance of ₹4,000 per annum.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an Indian citizen
- be a domicile of Manipur
- belong to the Other Backwards Classes (OBC) category
- be studying full-time in Class 9 or 10 in a government school/institute
- have a minimum of 75% attendance in the previous academic year
- have a maximum family income of ₹2,50,000 per annum
Benefits
The selected students will receive a consolidated academic allowance of ₹4,000 per annum.
Note:- The scholarship will be awarded until the candidate passes Class 10, subject to maintaining satisfactory academic performance and a 75% attendance rate each year.

How can you apply?
Eligible applicants can apply by following these steps:-
Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID).
Step 3: Navigate to the 'Students' option on the left-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: Now, click on the 'Login' button under the OTR option, as it is required to apply for a scholarship on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
Step 5: Read the details carefully, tick the checkbox, and click on the 'Next' button.
Step 6: Enter a functional mobile number, captcha code, and OTP, then submit to complete the registration process.
Step 7: Enter your/parents/guardian Adhaar/EID number and click ‘Get OTP’ for eKYC.
Step 8: Enter the OTP and click on ‘Verify’. Then click on ‘I Agree’.
Step 9: Enter all the mentioned details and click on ‘Finish’ to complete the 'One-time registration (OTR)' process. (Note:- This is a temporary registration number; students need to download the OTR mobile application for face authentication to complete the OTR process.)
Step 10: After successful registration, navigate to the 'Apply for Scholarship' option and click on the 'Login' button.
Step 11: Fill in the required details and click ‘Login’ to proceed with the scholarship application.
Note:- All the applicants are advised to fill in the information correctly on the application form. Once the application is submitted, no changes can be made. Additionally, submitting multiple applications will result in disqualification.

- Only two boys from the same parent(s)/guardian(s) will be entitled to receive scholarships. This restriction, however, will not apply to females. Accordingly, scholarships availed by females from the same parent(s)/guardian(s) will not affect the eligibility of up to two boys from the same parents/guardians to receive scholarships.
- A regular attendance record of not less than 75% in the previous year is a prerequisite for receiving a scholarship.
- At least 5% of students with disabilities should be covered under the scholarship scheme. Additionally, 30% of the beneficiaries should be reserved for female students.
- Migration of students from one institution to another is generally not permitted during the academic year, except in exceptional circumstances that are in the best interest of the student's academic career.
- If a student violates school discipline or any other terms and conditions of the scholarship, the scholarship may be suspended
- or even cancelled at the discretion of the competent school authority. The State Government/Union Territory Administration may also directly cancel the award if it determines that there has been a violation of these regulations governing the scheme.
