The applications for various government and private scholarships for studies after Class 12 are closing soon. While most of the scholarships will expire in the month of December, some will continue till January and February. The key objective of these scholarships is to support meritorious and needy students to pursue their studies after Class 12.

Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities
Minority community (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain and Parsi) students studying in Class 11, 12, graduate, postgraduate, technical or vocational courses, MPhil or PhD are eligible for this scholarship. They must have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination. Also, their annual family income must be less than INR 2 lakh from all sources.

Post Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
Open for students having more than 40% disability, this scholarship offers financial assistance for studies in Class 11 to postgraduate level. The students are required to have passed matriculation or higher secondary examination from a recognised board or university. The annual family income must be less than INR 2.50 lakh from all sources.

Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses CS (Minorities)
Minority community students who are pursuing a technical or professional course at undergraduate or postgraduate level are eligible. They must have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination. Also, their annual family income must be less than INR 2.50 lakh from all sources. The students are required to get admission in UG/PG courses on the basis of competitive entrance examination or marks obtained in Class 12/graduation.

Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students
The students who are above 80th percentile of successful candidates in their relevant stream in Class 12 or equivalent examination are eligible for this scholarship. They must be pursuing a regular undergraduate/postgraduate course like engineering or medical from a recognised institution in India. The annual income of the family must be less than INR 8 lakh from all sources.

Scholarships for Top Class Education for Students with Disabilities

The students are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility requirement for the course they are pursuing. Furthermore, their annual family income must be less than INR 5 lakh from all sources.

The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme

They are required to have secured at least 55% marks in Class 10 or 12. Also, their annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 3 lakh from all sources.

They are required to have scored at least 60% marks in Class 10 and/or 12. Their annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4 lakh from all sources.

Step 2: Register on the portal to begin the application process.
Step 3: Once registered, login using registered application ID and password.
