Odisha Scholarship Portal – Eligibility Criteria
Shahid Madho Singh Haath Kharcha Yojna
- The student must belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
- The student shall be pursuing education in any Govt. or Govt. Aided High School and Higher Secondary School within the state.
- Student shall be attending classes regularly after enrolment
- Parents/ guardian’s annual income from all sources shall not exceed ₹2,50,000 (Two Lakh Fifty Thousand)
Banishree – A Scheme of Scholarship for Students with Disability
- The applicant must be a bonafide resident of Orissa.
- The applicant should be a regular student of an educational institution.
- The parental/ family income of the applicant is not more than ₹60,000 per annum.
- The applicant is not receiving any financial assistance/stipend/scholarship from State Govt./ Central Govt. under any other scheme.
- The student will continue to get the scholarship if he enrols and regularly attends any recognised institution irrespective of whether he has passed or not in a particular year.
Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/EBC
- The student must belong to Scheduled Tribe (SC), Scheduled Caste (ST), OBC/ SEBC, EBC (Other than ST, SC, OBC/ SEBC) category.
- The student must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
- The student shall be pursuing studies in any Government, Aided or Private colleges/ institutions recognized by competent authority.
- The student’s parents’/ guardian’s annual income from all sources shall not exceed ₹2,50,000 (Two Lakh Fifty Thousand)
BOC Scholarship
- The student must be a resident of Odisha.
- The applicant must be an I.T.I./I.T.C.Polytechnic/Diploma student
- The student must belong to General, ST, SC, OBC and SEBC categories
Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana
- The scholarship is available for children of eligible beneficiaries under the CM-KISAN scheme.
- The scholarship is applicable to students pursuing professional courses that contribute to improving the economic and social status of farmers’ families.
- The student must have been admitted to a Government or Private institution for self-financing courses as per the capped fees structure.
- Students must meet the merit-based eligibility criteria set by the institutions for the courses under the Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for Class IX – X Students
- The student must belong to Scheduled Tribe (SC), Scheduled Caste (ST), OBC/ SEBC, EBC (Other than ST, SC, OBC/ SEBC) category.

Pathani Samanta Mathematics Talent Scholarship (Classes 11–12)
- The scheme is applicable to students reading in Odia Medium Higher Secondary Schools affiliated to CHSE (O).
- There is no income criteria for the award of this scholarship.
- A student may enjoy more than one scholarship at a time including PSMTS.
Junior Merit Scholarship
- The student must be a permanent resident of Odisha State.
- The Student must have passed HSC with 60% or more marks from an institution recognized by BSE Odisha, CBSE, ICSE, Equivalent Boards, and pursuing regular Class XI courses of 10+2.
- The income of the parents of the students from all sources should not exceed ₹6,00,000 (Six Lakh) per annum.
- Students shall apply for Junior Merit Scholarship in the 1st year of the course (Class XI).

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following the steps below –
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Odisha Scholarship Portal at scholarship.odisha.gov.in/website/home
Step 2: Navigate to the ‘Login’ button on the right-hand side of the dashboard. A pop-up will appear on the screen. Now, click on the ‘Register Here’ button.
Step 3: Read the terms and conditions carefully, tick the checkbox, and click on the ‘Proceed’.
Step 4: Enter the Aadhaar card number, click on the ‘Get OTP’ button to complete the registration process.
Step 5: After successfully registering, log in with your User ID and Password to apply for the scheme.
Step 6: Click the login link at the portal and enter the User ID and password to proceed.
Step 7: Choose the Department name and Scheme name.
Step 8: Provide all necessary details like student, academic, eligibility, and bank information, and upload the necessary documents.

BOC Scholarship
Selected scholars will receive variable financial assistance under this scholarship scheme.
Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana
The selected students will receive variable scholarship awards of up to ₹66,000 per annum. Further, the Mess/ hostel charges of ₹1200/- per month for UG, PG, Ph.D & Premier Govt. institutes students and ₹1000/- per month for Diploma/Polytechnic/ITI students for 10 months shall be provided for both Government and Pvt. Institutions.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for Class IX – X Students
- ₹3,500 per annum for selected day scholars.
- ₹7,000 per annum for selected hostellers.
10% extra allowance will be given to divyang (Disabled) students.
Pathani Samanta Mathematics Talent Scholarship (Classes 11–12)
