Top scholarships for Undergraduates

Every student who finishes high school in India has thousands of undergraduate courses here and abroad to choose from. And yet, for many in India instead of this abundance of choice there’s a lack of any. Financial constraints rob many a student of this choice and is the main cause of a student to discontinue his/her studies.

DLF Foundation Scholarship (AKANKSHA) 2017

Introduced by the DLF Foundation for first-year students pursuing graduation or post-graduation (only professional courses), this scholarship aims to support meritorious underprivileged students to attain higher education in their chosen fields of study and enable them to enhance their lives through better career opportunities.

ICAI Commerce Wizard – 2017

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announces this scholarship for students of Class 10/11/12 and B. Com/BBA/BMS/Allied subjects with an objective to encourage them to attain excellence in commerce stream.

Karunya Varsham Scholarship 2018

Introduced by Lourdes Matha College of Science & Technology, this scholarship is for students pursuing UG and PG in Engineering and Management with an aim to encourage students to study engineering at LMCST.

ICTS – S. N. Bhatt Memorial Excellence Fellowship Program 2018

International Centre for Theoretical Sciences, a centre of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Bengaluru introduced this scholarship for the academically sharp and outstanding undergraduate or postgraduate students of Science and Engineering with an objective to provide a special chance to the students to work with post-doctoral fellows and faculties of the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences and to participate in research.

Nurture Merit cum Means Scholarship 2018

Introduced for students pursuing graduation, the Nurture Merit cum Means Scholarship is an initiative to support meritorious graduates, belonging to the underprivileged section of the society.

To be eligible for the scholarship, the annual family income of a student should not exceed INR 2 Lacs.

The Anant Fellowship 2018

This fellowship by the Anant National University is open to students and practitioners from any discipline like architecture, design, planning, environmental science and engineering, civil and construction engineering. “

The fellowship seeks to prepare students to take on key architectural, design, planning, and sustainability challenges faced by India and the world.

The Gandhi Fellowship 2018

Graduates or post-graduates across all disciplines are eligible for the prestigious Gandhi Fellowship, introduced to develop young change leaders who personify and practice leadership skills that are needed to cause large-scale social and public systems change.
