HP Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria
All these scholarships have certain limitations and conditions for students to be eligible for them. The eligibility criteria for these numerous scholarships are different depending on the financial status and social status of students with the exception that the student ought to be a bona fide studying within the state or outside the state, and having a valid AADHAR (UID/EID) credentials.

The newly implemented HP ePass scholarship portal makes it easy and efficient for the students to apply for these scholarships. However, the applications for most of the centrally-sponsored and state-sponsored scholarships are now invited through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Here is a step by step application procedure on how to apply for an HP scholarship with ease through HP ePass Scholarship Portal.
Step 1: Visit the HP ePass Scholarship Portal
- Visit the Himachal Pradesh ePass Scholarship Portal
- The list of Scholarship Schemes can be referenced by clicking on ‘Schemes Offered’
Step 2: Register
- Click on ‘Student login’ in order to register yourself.
- If you do not have an Aadhar card click on ‘No’ and provide the Electronic Identification as ID proof and complete the registration
- The User Id and Password will be provided through the specified phone number and email id of the student.
Note- Keep the User ID and Password safe, the same shall be used to track further progress of the scholarship application.
Step 3: Attach the required documents
Once you have completed the registration by providing valid and important details carefully, attach all the necessary documents required in the HP Scholarship application. The progress of the application can be constantly tracked by logging in the HP Epass Scholarship Portal through the same ID and password provided to you at the time of registration. Who all are eligible to apply for HP scholarships?
Himachal Pradesh bonafide students, studying within state or outside state (in India only), having a valid Aadhaar and fulfilling the scheme specific eligibility criteria can apply for the state-sponsored and central-sponsored scholarships.

What am I supposed to do after submitting my online HP scholarship application?
