Eligibility
- The scholarship is available only for the first postgraduate (PG) degree
- The maximum age limit for applicants is 30 years at the time of admission to the PG course
- Distance education or correspondence courses are not eligible under this scheme

Eligibility
- Students must have scored above the 80th percentile among successful candidates in their respective Class 12 board exams (10+2 pattern) or equivalent.
- They should be pursuing a regular degree course and not through correspondence, distance learning, or diploma programs.
- The college or institution must be recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or the relevant Regulatory Body.
- Students should not be receiving benefits from any other scholarship, state-run scheme, fee waiver, or reimbursement program.
- The gross annual family income should not exceed Rs. 4.5 lakh. Fresh applicants must submit an income certificate.
- If a student changes their college or institute, they can continue the scholarship only if the new institution and course have a valid AISHE Code.
- Students who missed applying for renewal earlier can reapply in later years through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), provided they meet all renewal conditions. For renewal each year, students must:
- Score at least 50% marks in the annual examination
- Maintain at least 75% attendance
- Have no record of indiscipline, criminal activity, or ragging
- Violations may result in cancellation of the scholarship
- ₹12,000 per annum for the first three years of graduation-level courses
- ₹20,000 per annum at the post-graduation level
- For integrated or 5-year professional courses
- ₹12,000 per annum for the first three years
