Reservation Norms and Fee Concession
1. Bharathiar University admission follows the Tamil Nadu government’s reservation policy in full.
2. Students from the Adi Dravidar, Tribal Community, and Adi Dravidar-converted-to-Christianity categories are exempt from tuition fees under TNER-92.

Bharathiar University Merit-Based Admission Process 2026-27
This process applies to UG programmes (B.Voc., B.P.Ed., B.Sc. Blended) and PG programmes such as M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., M.C.A., M.Ed., M.P.Ed., Master of Library and Information Science, and PG Diploma courses.
Step 1: Register as a new user on the Bharathiar University admission portal using a valid, unique email ID.
Step 3: Fill in Academic Details, entering marks of Class 10, Class 12 and UG semesters as applicable (M.Ed. applicants must enter B.Ed. marks instead of UG marks).
Step 4: Upload scanned copies of mark sheets, community/special category certificate (if applicable), a passport-size photograph, and a signature, each within the prescribed file size and format.
Step 5: Preview the completed form, submit it, and proceed to the payment page.
Step 6: Pay the registration fee of ₹400 (₹200 for SC/ST candidates) online, then download the submitted application.

Step 2: Register on the Bharathiar University admission portal, select the MBA programme, and complete the application with TANCET registration and score details.

1. Applicants must hold an educational qualification issued by a body constituted by a state or central government, or by a UGC-recognised university.
