University of Kashmir Admission 2026-27: Courses & Fee Structure
The fee for Kashmir University admission 2026-27 is charged in three parts (Part A, Part B, Part C) for regular/general category seats, with separate (higher) fee structures for self-finance and NRI/NRI Sponsored seats. Some indicative annual fees for General Category programmes are given below:

Additional fee (wherever applicable): Computer fee of ₹500 (₹300 for Diploma/PG Diploma), Lab Maintenance fee of ₹1,000 for Science programmes (₹500 for Diploma/PG Diploma), and a one-time Animal House fee of ₹500 for Pharmaceutical Sciences, Zoology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Clinical Biochemistry departments.
Self-Finance seats: Whole-course fee (over and above normal fee) ranges from ₹20,000 (Persian/Sanskrit/Hindi, 1-year) up to ₹2,00,000 (M.Pharm/Biotechnology/MBA Integrated/B.Tech, 2-year programme), payable in two instalments — 50% at admission to Semester 1 and 50% at Semester 3.
NRI/NRI Sponsored seats: Whole-course fee is roughly double the self-finance fee for the same programme — for example, ₹4,00,000 for M.Pharm/Biotechnology/MBA/B.Tech (2-year programme) and ₹40,000 for Persian/Sanskrit/Hindi (1-year programme).
Refund of fee (as per UGC Fee Refund Policy 2024-25) follows a five-tier system: 100% refund if withdrawal is notified 15 or more days before the formally notified last date of admission, 90% if less than 15 days before, 80% if within 15 days after, 50% if 16–30 days after, and no refund if withdrawal is notified more than 30 days after the last date of admission.
