The Tripura Board Class 12th Exam Dates 2027 have not been announced yet. If the board follows its 2026 pattern, the Higher Secondary (HS) theory exams will begin in the last week of February 2027 and end by late March 2027. Last year, the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) announced the 2026 schedule on November 11, 2025, more than three months before the first paper. Practical exams are expected first, in November–December 2026. Below are the expected timeline, what last year’s schedule shows, and how students can prepare while the official routine is awaited.

Tripura Board Exam 2027: What About Class 10 (Madhyamik)?

The same expected timeline applies to Class 10. TBSE usually announces the Madhyamik and HS routines together. In 2026, the Madhyamik exams ran from February 26 to March 24. Class 10 students can expect a similar window in 2027, starting a day after the HS exams.

TBSE Practical Exams 2027: The First Milestone

The routine is still awaited, so the next real milestone for Class 12 students is the practical exam. For the 2026 session, TBSE held practicals for both classes from November 17 to December 1, 2025. If the board follows the same calendar, practicals for the 2027 session could begin within the next six weeks.

Practical marks count towards the final result in subjects that have a practical component, so students should not treat them as a formality. Finish your lab records, revise the experiments, and check the practical schedule with your school.

How to Download the TBSE HS Routine 2027

Once released, the routine will be available as a PDF on the board’s official website. To download it:

1. Visit tbse.tripura.gov.in.

2. Go to the “What’s New” or “Announcements” section on the homepage.

3. Click the link for the Madhyamik and HS (+2 Stage) date sheet 2027.

4. Download the PDF and check the dates for your stream (Arts, Science, Commerce or Vocational).

Madrasa Fazil students should check the separate Fazil Arts and Fazil Theology schedules, which TBSE usually releases alongside the main routine. TBSE conducts exams for madrasa students as well as regular school students. Madrasa Alim is the exam equivalent to Class 10, and Madrasa Fazil is the exam equivalent to Class 12. Fazil has two streams, Arts and Theology, and each stream has its own schedule.

TBSE Admit Card 2027: Collect It from Your School

TBSE does not release HS admit cards for students to download individually. Schools receive the admit cards from the board and hand them to students before the exams. Check your name, roll number, subjects and photograph as soon as you get the card. Report any error to your school right away so it can be corrected before the first paper.

TBSE HS Result 2027: When to Expect It

In 2026, TBSE declared the Madhyamik and HS results together on May 8, at tbresults.tripura.gov.in and tbse.tripura.gov.in. The HS pass percentage was 79.33%, with 21,024 of 26,502 students passing. Students appearing in 2027 can expect their result in May 2027 if the board follows the same timeline.

Preparation Tips While You Wait for the Routine

The official dates are still to come, but you can already plan with a late-February start in mind:

1. Syllabus & Revision – Aim to finish the syllabus by December so that January and February remain dedicated entirely to revision and practice papers.

2. Practical Examinations – Begin preparing for your practical exams immediately, as they are likely only a few weeks away.

3. Practice and Exam Pattern – Practise regularly using the official TBSE model question papers to become familiar with the exam pattern.
