This expectation follows a steady pattern: ISC exams ran from February 13 to April 5 in 2025, and from February 12 to April 6 in 2026. What the 2025 and 2026 Schedules Tell Us

The expected dates above come from CISCE’s last two exam cycles, which were almost the same:

Three points are useful for 2027 students. First, the time table has come out in November both years, about 11 to 12 weeks before the first paper. Second, the exams have started in the second week of February and ended in the first week of April. Third, CISCE declared the result on April 30 in both years, so students can reasonably expect results by the end of April 2027.

The order of subjects has changed from year to year. The first paper was Environmental Science in 2025 and Psychology in 2026. Students should not plan their revision around last year’s subject order. Wait for the official 2027 time table before fixing subject-wise revision dates.

ISC Board Exam 2027: Registration Process

The registration stage has already ended. ISC candidates do not register individually; their schools confirm their entries on CISCE’s CAREERS portal. For the 2027 exams, schools could confirm entries without a late fee from August 5 to September 15, 2026, and with a late fee until September 30.

If your name, date of birth or subject combination was entered wrongly, tell your school now. Schools can send correction requests through the same portal, and fixing an error now is much easier than after the admit cards are printed.

ISC Board Exam 2027: What’s Different for the 2027 Batch

The 2027 batch will also be among the first to experience several CISCE reforms. Students who entered Class 11 in 2025, the batch that will write the 2027 exams, were offered a choice between English and Modern English, and between Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. If you choose one of the new options, make sure you prepare from the correct syllabus and specimen papers for your subject.

The way results are reported has also changed. CISCE now issues a single Pass Certificate cum Statement of Marks instead of separate documents, and declares each result as “Qualified” or “Not Qualified”.

Once released, the time table will be available as a PDF on CISCE’s official website. To download it:

1. Visit the ISC official website at cisce.org.

2. Look for the “ISC Year 2027 Examination Time Table” link in the Notice Board or Examinations section.

3. Open and download the PDF.

4. Check the date and start time for each of your subjects.

Most ISC papers start at 2:00 pm, and a few papers, such as some Art papers, start at 9:00 am. In 2025, CISCE gave 15 minutes of reading time before each paper. Note the start time for every one of your papers, not just the date.

ISC Admit Card 2027 – How to Download

Students can connect with their school authorities to get their official ISC admit cards. CISCE sends them to schools, and schools give them to students. In 2026, admit cards were issued on January 27, about two weeks before the first exam. There is no other way to obtain the ISC admit card for the ISC Class 12 board examinations.

ISC Result 2027: When to Expect It

CISCE declared the ISC result on April 30 in both 2025 and 2026. In 2026, the ISC pass percentage was 99.13%, with 1,03,316 students appearing. The 2027 result is likely to come out in the last week of April 2027 on cisce.org and results.cisce.org.

The four months before the exams matter most, and you can start planning now:

1. Finish the Syllabus: Completing your course material early ensures January can be fully dedicated to comprehensive revision ahead of mid-February exams.
