To reduce drop-out rates of students from schools and colleges, the Government of Uttar Pradesh announces Pre-matric and Post-matric scholarship schemes for students belonging to SC, ST, OBC and General categories. The students will receive variable awards based on their education qualification and annual family income.
Schindler Igniting Mind Scholarship Program
In order to provide equal opportunities of education to meritorious students belonging to underprivileged families, Schindler India has announced Igniting Minds Scholarship Program for students pursuing ITI/Polytechnic diploma. The eligible students stand a chance to win scholarship amount of INR 20,000 under this scheme.
Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child
To support the education of single girl child at post-graduate level, University Grants Commission announces Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child. The students fulfilling the eligibility criteria can win the scholarship of INR 3,100 per month for two years.
Post Graduate Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holders
If you are among top rank holders at university level and pursuing a postgraduate program, you can apply for the Post Graduate Merit Scholarship introduced by the University Grants Commission under the MHRD. Under this scheme, the selected students stand a chance to win scholarship amount of INR 3100 per month for two years.
Siksha Abhiyan Scholarship Test
With an objective to enable students pursue their dream education, Modi Foundation has decided to offer scholarship up to INR 50,000 to students of Class 8 to 12. Available specifically for the students of Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, the students are selected based on their performance in the test under this scheme.
