Note: The students who are applying for scholarship renewal also need to create a new registration number by using the previous registration number through respective links.
Step 4: An application form will open. Fill in all required details like district, institution, category/caste, religion, the name of the applicant, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email id, password, etc.
Step 5: Submit the UP scholarship registration form by clicking the “Submit” button.
UP Scholarship Application – Steps to Follow
Once you are successfully registered at the UP scholarship portal, you will receive your registration details on your registered mobile number and email id. You can further continue to UP scholarship application by logging in to the portal using your registration number, date of birth and password. The steps that you need to follow for application include –
Step 1: Visit the UP scholarship portal.
Step 2: Go to “Student” section and select the respective login of scholarship for which you are applying out of the following –

Step 3: Enter your registration number, date of birth and password to enter the dashboard.
Step 4: A page of important instructions will come. Read the instructions carefully and tick on the button given at the end. Click on “Proceed”.
Step 5: You will be directed to the user dashboard. Click on “Apply for Scholarship” button to reach the UP scholarship application form.
Step 6: Fill in all required details like educational qualification, personal information, category and income details, bank information, fee details, etc, and click on “Submit”.
Step 7: Again, visit the dashboard and click on “Upload documents”.
Step 8: Upload all supporting documents and submit.
Step 9: Once the online submission of application is done, the applicants are also required to take the print out of the completed UP scholarship application and submit it to the respective educational institution for verification along with all supporting documents.
