Career Assessment Test

Students must meet specific eligibility requirements to apply for the UP Scholarship. Failure to meet any of these criteria can lead to disqualification.

  • Applicants must be permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh or have a valid UP domicile certificate. Students studying outside UP can apply under the Post Matric (Other State) category.
  • Candidates must be enrolled in recognised institutions for post-matric courses, including Classes 11 and 12, undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, ITI, polytechnic, or professional courses like LLM, engineering, or medical programs.
  • The annual family income should not exceed ₹2 lakh for post-matric scholarships (from all sources). An income certificate is mandatory for verification.
  • Scholarships are available for General, SC, ST, OBC, and Minority (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi) communities. Each category has specific schemes, such as the Post-Matric Intermediate Scholarship for SC/ST/General or the Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities.
