Mahadbt Login – MahaDBT or Aaple Sarkar DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) is a commendable online scholarship portal by the Government of Maharashtra. It hosts 40+ย post-matric scholarships for the reserved category students of Maharashtra’s domiciles. These scholarships are provided by 8 distinct departments of the State Government of Maharashtra. The scholarships are granted through the MahaDBT portal based on merit and category.ย

MahaDBT Login 2023-24 – Key Highlights

The MahaDBT Scholarship Scheme 2023-24 offers financial assistance to students of Classes 11 and 12. As per the scholarship notification, the student should score 75% or more in Class 10 to apply for this scholarship.ย

MahaDBT Registration 2023-24 – Step by Step Process

Students who wish to enrol themselves and apply for MahaDBT scholarships must have access to scanned copies of their marks card, family income certificates and other important documents before moving ahead to the registration and MahaDBT login process.ย 

There are two methods with the help of which students can register themselves for the MahaDBT scholarship programme.

Registration Method 1ย

Career Assessment Test

As per the first method, students can register on MahaDBT by following any of the 2 ways mentioned below:

  • UID based Registrationย 
  • Non-UID based Registration

Step 1 – Visitย the MahaDBT login page

Step 2 – Then, students need to click on the โ€˜How to Apply Online?โ€™ option present on the homepageย 

Step 3 – Students will be redirected to a new window where they have to choose a ‘Registration Optionโ€™

UID based Registration

  • In case of UID-based Registration, students have to enter their Aadhar Number, select the OTP option and click on the Send OTP button.
  • They will receive OTP via SMS on the phone number, which is linked to their Aadhaar card number.

Non-UID based Registration

  • For Non-UID based Registration, if the students choose that they do not have an Aadhar number or Aadhar registration ID, they will be asked to enter a valid email ID and click โ€˜Get OTPโ€™ for Email ID verification.
  • They will receive OTP at their provided email address.
  • After entering the OTP, they have to enter a valid mobile number and again click โ€˜Get OTPโ€™ for mobile number verification.
  • Students need to enter the OTP received on their mobile phones, fill out the form and click the โ€˜Saveโ€™ tab.

Registration Method 2ย 

1. Visit the official Aaple Sarkar DBT or MahaDBT login portal

2. Click on the tab titled โ€˜New Applicant Registration’

3. Enter the required information such as the Name of the applicant, Username, Password, Confirm Password, OTP for Email ID and OTP for Mobile number

4. In case of Email ID and mobile number, a verification OTP will be sent to the email address and mobile number

5. Enter the OTP numbers

6. Click on โ€˜Registerโ€™.

7. The applicants will be redirected to UID based registration page

8. Enter the Aadhar number

9. The next step involves authentication, the applicants can choose between biometric authentication or OTP (One Time Password) authentication

10. On choosing the OTP option, an OTP number will be sent to the registered mobile number. After verification, all the registered information will be displayedย 

11. Now create a username and password for login purposes

MahaDBT Login – How to Login to the Portal?

1. Visit the MahaDBT login page

2. Navigate to the โ€˜Applicant Loginโ€™ tab on the right-hand side of the MahaDBT login screen and click on it

3. A new Login window will openย 

4. Enter the created Username and Password

5. Click on the ‘Login’ tab

MahaDBT Login – How to Reset Login Name/User Name?

In case a student forgets the username that he/she had created for MahaDBT login ID, they need to follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official MahaDBT login portal
  2. Click on โ€˜Applicant Loginโ€™ย 
  3. When the Login page opens, click on โ€˜Forgot Usernameโ€™
  4. Enter details such as the Full name of the applicant (by profile), Mobile number and Date of birth
  5. Click on โ€˜Get User Nameโ€™
  6. A new pop-up screen will be displayed with the message ‘Your Username Successfully sent to the registered mobile number’
  7. The candidates will receive an SMS โ€“ โ€˜Dear โ€œApplicant Nameโ€ your username is โ€œuser nameโ€. Save the details for future reference

MahaDBT Login – How to Reset MahaDBT Password?

Candidates can reset their passwords by following the below instructions:

  1. Visit the official MahaDBT login portal
  2. Click on โ€˜Applicant Loginโ€™ย 
  3. When the Login page opens, click on โ€˜Forgot Passwordโ€™
  4. Now, enter the โ€˜Usernameโ€™
  5. A popup window will appear displaying โ€˜OTP has been sent Successfully to the registered Mobile numberโ€™
  6. Click on โ€˜OKโ€™ displayed on the popup window
  7. Enter the OTP number in the box below โ€˜Usernameโ€™
  8. A new window โ€˜Change Passwordโ€™ will open
  9. Now enter the old password, and new password and confirm the new password
  10. Finally, click on โ€˜Change Passwordโ€™

Note: The password should contain alphabets and at least one symbol and numberย

How to Redeem MahaDBT Scholarship 2023-24?

  • If a candidate is selected for the Aaple Sarkar DBT scholarship, they will receive a link to redeem the scholarships via SMS or email
  • The candidate needs to click on the received link, which will direct him/her to the MahaDBT login page
  • Log in using the username and passwordย 
  • Click on ‘My Applied Schemes‘.
  • Check the redeem status option
  • Click on the ‘Redeem’ tab

MahaDBT Login – Renewing MahaDBT Scholarship

There is a set of procedures that students have to follow to renew their MahaDBT scholarship application.

  • Visit the MahaDBT login page
  • Enter the username and password
  • Click on the current course and add the new semester/year
  • Add the past qualification/last examinationย 
  • Upload the required documents such as the mark sheet, hostel details, etc.
  • Choose among the current scheme
  • Click โ€˜Yesโ€™ for the MahaDBT application form renewal
  • Finally, click on โ€˜Submitโ€™

Note: The applicants have to pass the previous examination to renew their application. In case a student fails in the previous year or semester, they will not be paid any scholarship.

Post-Matric Scholarship for persons with disability
  • Students should be studying at a recognized university/institute.
  • Students with 40% or above physical disability are eligible.

  • The students must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in Class 12.

Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Scheme
  • Students must belong to the General category.
  • The annual family income limit of students should be up to โ‚น8,00,000.
  • Only the first two children of the same family are eligible.
  • 100% of exam fees waiver for non-professional courses
  • 50% of exam fees waiver for professional courses
Merit Scholarships for Economically Backward Class Students School Education and Sports Department
  • Students should clear the Class 10 examination in the first attempt.
  • The applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Class 10.ย 
For hostellerย 

  • Boys โ€“ 140 per month for 10 months
  • Girls โ€“ 160 per month for 10 monthsย 

For non-hostellerย 

  • Boys โ€“ 80 per month for 10 months
  • Girls โ€“ 100 per month for 10 months
Open Merit Scholarships in Junior College
  • Students must be studying in Class 11 or 12.
  • The applicants must have secured a minimum of 60% in the SSC exam.
  • 50 per month for 10 months (โ‚น500 per Year)
Post Matric Scholarship to SBC Students VJNT, OBC, and SBC Welfare Department
  • Students must be a resident of Maharashtra.
  • Students should belong to the SBC category
  • 75% attendance is compulsory for the current year (Class 10)
  • The annual family income of the students must not exceed โ‚น1,00,000.

  • The students should be ‘Bonafide Student of Institute’ and admitted for Professional and Technical course (Diploma / Graduation / Post Graduation Degree)
  • Students should have passed SSC from Maharashtra.
  • For Technical Course – A maximum of 25,000/- per year or actual tuition fees, whichever is less.
State Minority Scholarship Part II
  • Students belonging to the domicile of Maharashtra.
  • Family Income should be up to โ‚น8,00,000.
  • Students who have enrolled in Graduation/Post graduation in Arts, Science or Commerce stream,
  • 5,000 or total annual course fee, whichever amount is less will be scholarship amount
