MahaDBT Login 2024-25 – Step-by-Step Guide

In order to register and apply for the MahaDBT scholarships, applicants should ensure they have scanned copies of their mark sheets, family income certificates, and other essential documents before initiating the registration and login process on MahaDBT portal.

• Visit the MahaDBT registration login page.

Registration with Aadhaar on MahaDBT  

• Visit the MahaDBT registration login page.

Using Biometric Option – Click on “See How” available by the side of “Using Biometric” button. You need to follow steps provided below:

• Do you have an Aadhaar Number? Select “Yes“
• Enter your Aadhaar number and choose the “Biometric” option.
• Under “Select option to capture,” choose the “NITGEN” option.
• Place your thumb on the Biometric Kit.
• Your fingerprint will be validated, and the data will appear on the screen.
• After the data is displayed, enter your username and password, then click “Save“.

Once you understand the process flow, you can continue with the registration using the below-mentioned steps: 

• Enter your Aadhaar number and click on the “Send OTP” button. The system will validate your Aadhaar number and send a system-generated OTP to your registered mobile number.

• An alert message will appear stating, “OTP for Aadhaar authentication has been sent to your Aadhaar-linked registered mobile number“. Click on the “OK” button.

• Enter the OTP you received and click on the “Verify OTP” button.

• After successful OTP verification, a message will appear on the screen stating, “Authentication Successful! Please click on Continue“. 
• Click on the “OK” button to proceed with registration.
• Upon successful OTP verification, the system will automatically populate your personal details, address and bank details based on the information fetched from UIDAI.

• Create a username and password to access the system. The username should only include letters and numbers, and must be between 5 and 14 characters long.

Students who have been unable to receive their Post-Matric Scholarship DBT due to lack of Aadhaar seeding are advised to visit the nearest Post Office to open an India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) account with Aadhaar seeding. Before beginning with the online application, applicants must ensure they have a scanned (digital) image of their photograph and signature that meets the specifications outlined below. The online application will not be registered successfully unless the photo and signature are uploaded according to these guidelines.
