About The Program

Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) for SC/ST/BC/Disabled Category, Telangana 2024-25 is an initiative by the Telangana Government to support students from SC/ST/BC/Disabled categories pursuing higher education. Eligible students can receive tuition fee reimbursement for various courses, including intermediate, ITI, polytechnic, professional courses, graduate/postgraduate courses, and Ph.D. The reimbursement amount varies depending on the course, ranging from ₹850 per annum for intermediate courses to ₹6,90,000 per annum for medical courses.

EligibilityDeadline Date: 31-Mar-2025

To be eligible, an applicant must:- 

  • be an Indian national
  • be a domicile of Telangana state
  • belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Backward Classes (BC)/Economically Backward Classes (EBC)/Disabled Welfare category
  • have passed Class 10 and will be pursuing studies at the post-matric level
  • have secured a minimum of 75% attendance at the end of each quarter in Class 10
  • have an annual family income lower than:
    • ₹2,00,000 for the Scheduled Caste (SC/ST) category
    • ₹1,50,000 for Backward Classes (BC)/Extremely Backward Classes (EBC)/Disabled Welfare category of rural areas
    • ₹2,00,000 for Backward Classes (BC)/Extremely Backward Classes (EBC)/Disabled Welfare category of urban areas
Benefits

Selected candidates will receive reimbursement of tuition fees ranging from ₹850 for intermediate courses to ₹6,90,000 for medical courses per annum. The tuition fee reimbursement will depend on the course of study.

Furthermore, the selected scholars will also receive variable maintenance or mess charges every month.

  • Latest passport-sized photograph
  • Student's Aadhaar card
  • Caste certificate 
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • Marksheets and certificates of Class 10
  • The first page of the student's bank passbook, showing their name, account number, and IFSC code (not required for EBC students)
  • Study/bonafide certificate for the last 7 consecutive years of study
  • CET (Common Entrance Test) allotment order (for CET courses only)   
How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:

Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to 'Register' (Note:- If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Read the instructions, tick the required documents' checkboxes, and click on the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of the page.
Step 4: Enter the details of the SSC (Class 10) examination.
Step 5: After verifying SSC credentials, fill in the application form, upload the necessary documents and submit.
