The Government of Telangana has announced the commencement of scholarship registrations for the academic year 2025-26, aimed at supporting students from marginalised communities. Applications are now open for Pre-Matric Scholarships for SC/ST/BC/PwD students (Fresh Registration 2025–26) and for SC/ST/BC students (Renewal Registration 2024–25). Additionally, Post-Matric Scholarships are available for both Fresh Registrations (2025–26) and Renewal Registrations (2025–26), offering financial assistance to eligible students pursuing higher education.

Telangana Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Career Assessment Test

Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship, Telangana – Applicable to Backward Class graduate students pursuing postgraduation abroad.

Buddy4Study - Education Loan

– Secured minimum 60% marks in undergraduate degree (engineering, management, sciences, humanities, agriculture, medicine, etc.).

– Age must be below 30 years as of 1st July of the application year.

– Annual family income must be below ₹1.5 lakh (rural) or ₹2 lakh (urban).

– Applicants must be the only child in the family.

Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Minorities, Telangana – Open to minority community students.

– Secured at least 60% in graduation/postgraduation in Engineering, Pure Sciences, Management, Social Sciences, Humanities, Agriculture, Medicine, or Nursing.

– Must intend to pursue postgraduate/doctoral studies abroad (USA, UK, Canada, Singapore, or Australia).

– Family income must be below ₹2,00,000 per annum.

– Applicants must be under 30 years of age as of July 1 of the application year.

Vidyadhan Intermediate (1st year) Scholarship Program, Telangana – Passed Class 10/SSC in 2025

– Scored ≥ 90% or 9 CGPA (≥ 75% or 7.5 CGPA for students with disabilities)

– Annual family income below ₹2,00,000
