- Gross annual family income of applicants should be up to ₹4,50,000.
- They should not be availing benefits available under any other scholarship schemes including state run scholarship schemes, fee waiver, and reimbursement schemes.
- Students from all categories are eligible for PM-USP. There are provisions of reservation provided as under:
- 15% for SCs
- 7.5% for STs
- 27% for OBCs
- 50% for girl students

Scholarship Renewal
For the renewal of scholarships in each year of study, candidates must fulfil the following conditions:
- They should secure at least 50% marks in their annual examination.
- Their attendance should not go below 75%.

The ONGC Scholarship Scheme is a sincere endeavor of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to support deserving students hailing from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. This scholarship program is intended for students enrolled in their first year of professional studies such as engineering, MBBS, MBA, or Master’s in Geophysics/Geology. ONGC provides a yearly scholarship of ₹48,000 each to 2,000 outstanding students, allowing them to pursue their study without financial restraints. Eligibility Criteria

Scholarship for Students with Disabilities is an initiative of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. Every year, 17000 scholarships are sanctioned for students pursuing their studies in Class 11, 12, Post-matriculation, Diploma, Certification, Bachelor’s Degree, and Master’s Degree/Diploma from any University recognised by the UGC/AICTE.
Eligibility Criteria
- This scholarship is open to Indian students faced with benchmark disabilities. Applicants should have a valid certificate of disability.
- This scholarship is valid only for two disabled children from the same parents.
- The candidate should not be receiving any other scholarship or stipend from the center or state governments.
- The scholarship is awarded to the applicants pursuing their studies in post-matriculation or post-secondary courses from recognised institutions.
Scholarship Benefits
The post-matric scholar receives the following benefits and allowances:

Scholarship Renewal
- This scholarship supports the students till the completion of their course of study. It is renewed every academic year only if the scholar’s academic progress and conduct is satisfactory.
- It is also renewed if the student with benchmark disabilities fails in an examination for the first time or is unable to appear for the annual examination owing to illness or on account of any other unforeseen event.
- If a student is found to have obtained a scholarship by fraudulent means, the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of India may cancel the scholarship and recover the scholarship amount already paid.

MBBS Scholarships 2024-25: Top Class Education Scholarship
The main goal of this scholarship is to provide financial support for students with disabilities to pursue graduate and postgraduate degrees, or diplomas in recognised educational institutes of excellence listed by the DEPwD. A total of 300 scholarships are awarded under this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria
- This grant is available only to Indian students with qualifying disabilities. Applicants should have a valid disability certificate.
- It is only available to two disabled children of the same parents.
- The candidate should not be receiving any other central or state scholarships or stipends.
- Applicants should have secured a seat in the institutes of excellence as listed by the DEPwD.
- In case an applicant is a permanent resident of one state but pursuing studies in another state, the application will be considered under the slot of their home state and their application must be recommended by the Education/Welfare Department of the state of permanent residency.
Scholarship Renewal
- This scholarship is available to students until the completion of the course they are pursuing provided that they are promoted to the higher class and renew the scholarship every year.
- If a scholar is unable to appear for the annual examination due to illness or other unanticipated circumstances, the award can be renewed for the next academic year upon production of a medical certificate and other requisite documents.

The Dr. P.S. Shankar Medical Scholarship is intended to assist academically outstanding individuals seeking to pursue MBBS degree, particularly those facing financial difficulty.
