Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarship 2023-24 is an initiative of Federal Bank to provide financial support to first-year undergraduate students pursuing specified professional courses. This scholarship aims to support the education of meritorious students from Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu. The selected students will receive 100% reimbursement of tuition fees and other educational expenses, as per the college's fee structure.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible, an applicant must:

    • be enrolled in one of the following disciplines/courses: 
      • MBBS
      • Engineering
      • B.Sc in Nursing
      • MBA
      • B.Sc in Agriculture, B.Sc (Hons) Co-operation & Banking conducted by Agriculture Universities
    • be a domicile of Gujarat/Karnataka/Kerala/Maharashtra/Punjab/Tamil Nadu
    • have secured admission under merit in government/government-aided/government-recognised self-financing/autonomous colleges during the academic year of 2023-24
    • have a family annual income of less than ₹3,00,000
    Benefits

    Selected students will receive full reimbursement for their tuition fees and other educational expenses, up to a maximum of ₹1,00,000 per annum. This reimbursement is based on the official fee structure of the college.

    In addition, students are eligible for a one-time reimbursement of up to ₹40,000 for the purchase of a personal computer (PC) or laptop during their course of study (within the overall eligibility of ₹1,00,000 per annum).

    Note:- Students can claim reimbursement upon submission of the receipts.

    • Marksheets of qualifying examination
    • ID proof & address proof of student and parent
      • Medical certificate (if applicable)
      • In the case of dependant wards of Martyred Armed Forces Personnel who lost their life while serving the Nation, evidence showing the same needs to be submitted
    • Instructions from the university for converting the CGPA/Grade into percentage (mandatory for MBA applicants)

    Note:-

    • All the documents in the original will be verified at the zonal offices/designated offices.
    • A medical certificate is applicable for physically challenged students & speech/hearing/vision impaired students.
    • In the case of speech/hearing/vision impaired students, a certificate issued by a Medical Officer, not below the rank of DMO or an approved Medical Officer of the Bank is mandatory.

    Eligible students can apply for the scholarship through the following steps:
    Step 1:

    Step 3: Read all the details carefully, navigate to the 'How to Apply' section, and click on the given link.
    Step 4: Enter mobile number, captcha and click on the login button.
    Step 5: After successful verification, read the terms & conditions carefully, tick the checkbox at the bottom of the page, and click on the 'Submit' button.
    Step 6: Fill in all the required details, upload the necessary documents, and submit.

Selection Criteria

The selection will be based on marks scored in the qualifying examination, personal interview, and background check conducted by the Foundation.

  • Annual Income criteria are not applicable to the wards of Martyred Armed Forces Personnel.
  • One seat in each discipline will be kept aside for physically challenged students.
  • If applications are not received under the physically challenged category, they will be utilised under the general category.
