E-Kalyan Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2026-27
Students who want to apply for the E-Kalyan scholarship are required to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
1. Applicants must be a permanent resident of Jharkhand.
3. Students must be studying a post-matric course (Class 11 to PhD) at a recognised institution registered on e-Kalyan portal
4. The annual family income of the student from all sources must not exceed ₹2.5 lakh for SC and ST students.
5. BC students must meet the income limit of not more than ₹2,50,000.
6. The applicant must have an Aadhaar-linked bank account in the student’s own name.
Students Ineligible for E-Kalyan Jharkhand Scholarship
Documents Required for E-Kalyan Scholarship 2026-27
Applicants are required to submit the documents listed below while applying for the E-Kalyan Jharkhand scholarship, ensuring that the documents are in JPG format and less than 1 MB.
1. Student’s Aadhaar card
2. Caste certificate issued online by Jharkhand revenue authorities
3. Income certificate (recent, within the given income limit for eligibility)
4. Domicile certificate
5. Marksheet of the previous qualifying examination
6. Admission receipt and fee receipt from the institute
7. Bank passbook of an Aadhaar-linked account in the student’s name
8. Passport-size photograph
9. Hostel certificate, if staying in a hostel
The student name and date of birth must be the same on the Aadhaar card, the marksheet, and the bank account passbook. Any type of mismatch will lead to problems in verification or rejection in certain cases.
E-Kalyan Jharkhand Registration 2026
Students are required to complete E-Kalyan Jharkhand registration before they can proceed with the e-Kalyan login. In the renewal cases, students can use the existing e-kalyan login details.
Step-by-Step E-Kalyan New Registration
Step 1: Visit the official e-Kalyan portal at ekalyan.cgg.gov.in and navigate to the “Student Login” option.
Step 2: Click on the “Register” option under “Manage your Application,” and choose Within State if you study in Jharkhand or Outside State if you study in another state.
Step 3: Click on Candidate Registration and fill in your name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID and Aadhaar details.
Step 4: Create a password and submit. Note down the User ID shown on screen or sent to your mobile.
E-Kalyan Student Login 2026-26
Step 1: Go to ekalyan.cgg.gov.in, click on Student Login and navigate to “Manage your Application.”
Step 2: Click on “Login with OTP/Passowrd”. If you choose to log in, with OTP, then enter your registered mobile number and click on “Get OTP”. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter it and continue. Else, you can simply log in by using your valid E-Kalyan login credentials.
Forgot your e-Kalyan password?
If students forgot their e-Kalyan password, then click on “Forgot Password” option on the login page. Enter your user ID and registered mobile number, verify the OTP, and set a new password under the given guidelines.
How to Apply for Scholarship After E-Kalyan Login 2026
Step 1: Visit the official E-Kalyan portal.
Step 2: Login using your user ID and password. Click on Apply for Scholarship and select the post-matric scheme for your respective category.
Step 3: Fill in your personal address, caste, income, and bank details.
Step 4: Select your college and course, and enter your previous exam marks and fee details.
Step 5: Upload scanned copies of all the necessary documents and submit the e-Kalyan scholarship application form.
Take a print of the E-Kalyan Jharkhand application form and submit it with self-attested documents to your college for verification. An application will not be considered complete until your college (INO) and district officer (DNO) verify it. Follow up with your college after once you submit.

Step 1: Visit ekalyan.cgg.gov.in and log in with your User ID and password.
Step 2: Open Application Status or Payment Status on your dashboard.
