About The Program
Dr. Reddy's Foundation Sashakt Scholarship 2024 is an initiative of the Dr. Reddy's Foundation (NGO) that empowers female students in India who have passed Class 12 and are willing to pursue B.Sc. in Natural/Pure Sciences, B.Tech., or M.B.B.S. degree programmes in one of the specified institutions. The scholarship aims to encourage young women across India and provide an opportunity for female students, especially from rural India and low socio-economic backgrounds, to get access to quality education in some of India’s best science institutions by offering financial support and mentorship throughout their undergraduate studies. Selected scholars will receive a scholarship of ₹2,40,000 i.e.₹80,000 per annum for three years of study.

To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be Indian citizen
- be a female student who has passed Class 12 from a recognised board
- demonstrate a strong academic record
- be admitted to a B.Tech. in Natural/Pure Sciences, M.B.B.S., or B.Sc. degree programme in one of the listed institutions (in the terms and conditions section)
Note:- Preference will be given to students from rural areas, economically disadvantaged backgrounds, and those demonstrating an interest in scientific research.
Benefits
The selected candidates will receive a scholarship worth ₹2,40,000 i.e. ₹80,000 per annum for three years of study, which covers college tuition fees, study expenses, and basic living costs.
Documents
The applicants are required to submit the documents listed below while applying for the scholarship:-
- Mandatory Documents:
- Class 12 marksheet
- Class 10 certificate or equivalent qualifying exam certificate
- Income certificate (if household income is less than ₹5,00,000)
- Disability certificate (if applicable)
- Optional Documents:
- Class 12 certificate
- Class 10 marksheet

General Terms and Conditions:-
- Final scholarship disbursement will be contingent upon the applicant submitting a fee receipt evidencing partial payment of tuition.
