The procedure to apply for a scholarship at Har-Chhatravratti is simple and easy. The students who qualify for the eligibility criteria can apply for the scholarship online through the Haryana scholarship portal. Find below the step-by-step procedure to apply for the scholarship –
Step 1: Visit the official website of Har-Chhatravratti at harchhatravratti.highereduhry.ac.in/Index
Step 2: Navigate to the ‘Student’ section on the left side of the dashboard and click on the ’Student Registration’ from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Read the instructions carefully and enter your PPP number (Family ID).
Step 4: Once you enter your PPP number (Family ID), your name will appear. Then, select ‘Generate OTP’ and enter the OTP to verify.
Step 5: After OPT verification, fill in the related information to complete the Haryana Scholarship registration process.
Step 6: Once registered, your username will appear on the screen as shown in the image below. It is advisable to save it to continue with the Haryana scholarship login process.
Step 7: Enter the username, password, and captcha to log in for the Haryana scholarship.
Step 8: After successful login, your student dashboard will be displayed. Now, click on the ‘Apply for Scholarship’ option on the left side of the dashboard. Click on the respective Haryana Scholarship you want to apply for.
Step 9: Once you select the scholarship, select the academic year and submit. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Enter the same to verify.
Step 10: After verification, fill the required information, upload the necessary documents in the prescribed size/format, and click on the ‘Apply’ button to submit the Haryana scholarship application form.

Haryana Scholarship Portal Documents Required

- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
- The applicant must belong to specific categories such as Scheduled Caste (SC), Backward Classes (BC), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC), Denotified Tribes (DNT), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), or minority communities (for certain schemes).
- For Post-Matric Scholarships: The applicant must have completed Matriculation or Higher Secondary and be enrolled in intermediate, graduate, or postgraduate courses at a recognized institution.
