Har-Chhatravratti Scholarships – Eligibility Criteria & Benefits
Students can refer to the individual scholarship details listed below and check their eligibility, alongside the benefits they can avail from these scholarships.
1. Post Matric Scholarship – SC Students
Eligibility Criteria –
- The student must have an Indian nationality.
- The student must belong to the Scheduled Caste category.
- The student must have passed their matriculation or higher secondary or any other higher examination from a recognized university or Board of Secondary Education.
- The student’s family income from all sources must not exceed ₹ 2.50 Lakhs.
- Students pursuing their studies through correspondence/online courses are also eligible.
Benefits –
- For degree and post-graduate level professional courses (Group 1), hostellers will receive ₹ 13,500 yearly, while day scholars will receive ₹ 7,000 yearly.
- For other professional courses leading to degree, diploma, certificate (Group 2), hostellers will receive ₹ 9,500 yearly, while day scholars will receive ₹ 6,500 yearly.
- For graduate and post-graduate courses not covered in group 1 & 2, hostellers will receive ₹ 6,000 yearly, while day scholars will receive ₹ 3,000 yearly.
- For all post-matriculation non-degree courses (post class 10th level), hostellers will receive ₹ 4,000 yearly, while day scholars will receive ₹ 2,500 yearly.
Please note – 10% extra allowance will be given to students with disabilities. Moreover, students pursuing C.A./I.C.W.A./C.S./I.C.F.A. will be treated as day scholars only.
2. Post Matric Scholarship – BC, EWS and DNT Students
Eligibility Criteria –
- The student must have an Indian nationality.
- The student must belong to the OBC/EBC/DNT category.
- The student must have passed their matriculation or higher secondary or any other higher examination from a recognized university or Board of Secondary Education.
- The student’s family income from all sources must not exceed ₹ 2.50 lakhs. (for both, employed and unemployed students.)
- Students pursuing their studies through correspondence/online courses are also eligible.
Benefits –
- For degree and post-graduate level professional courses (Group 1), students will receive an academic allowance of ₹ 10,000 yearly, and tuition fee assistance of ₹ 10,000 yearly.
- For other professional courses leading to degree, diploma, certificate (Group 2), students will receive an academic allowance of ₹ 8,000 yearly, and tuition fee assistance of ₹ 5,000 yearly.
- For graduate and post-graduate courses not covered in Group 1 & 2, students will receive an academic allowance of ₹ 6,000 yearly, and tuition fee assistance of ₹ 2,000 yearly.
- For all post-matriculation non-degree courses (Post Class 10th level), students will only receive an academic allowance of ₹ 5,000 yearly.
Please note – Students pursuing C.A./I.C.W.A./C.S./I.C.F.A. will be treated as day scholars only. Additionally, students pursuing correspondence/online courses will not be eligible for the academic allowance.
3. Consolidated Stipend Scheme For SC Students
Eligibility Criteria –
- The student must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
- The student must belong to the SC category.
- The student must maintain at least 60% attendance in order to avail the stipend amount.
Benefits –
- Every student shall receive ₹ 2,000 for purchasing books, and an additional stipend of ₹ 1,000 per month, provided their attendance is above 60%.
4. Consolidated Stipend Scheme For Grand Children of Freedom Fighters
Eligibility Criteria –
- The student must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
- The students who belong to the grand children of freedom fighters must have a valid proof recommended by the district administration.
Benefits –
- Every student shall receive ₹ 2,000 for purchasing books once in a year, and an additional stipend of ₹ 1,000 per month for 12 months.
5. Free Books For SC Students
Eligibility Criteria –
- The student must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
- The student must belong to the SC category.
- The student must maintain at least 60% attendance in order to avail the stipend amount.
Benefits –
- Every student shall receive ₹ 2,000 for purchasing books, and an additional stipend of ₹ 1,000 per month, provided their attendance is above 60%.
6. State Merit Scholarship To Under Graduate Girls Students
Eligibility Criteria –
- Girl students with a valid domicile of Haryana are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- Only girl students pursuing their undergraduate studies are eligible for this scholarship.
- The student must have secured at least 60% in their 10+2, and must be pursuing their general degree course from any government college.
Benefits –
- Every student shall receive ₹ 3,000 per annum.
7. Haryana State Meritorious Incentives Scheme
Eligibility Criteria –
- Students with a valid domicile of Haryana are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- Students pursuing their general degree courses from government colleges are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Benefits –
- Students who’ve secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rank in their annual UG/PG examinations will receive ₹ 5,000 per annum, ₹ 3,000 per annum, and ₹ 2,000 per annum respectively.
8. Haryana State Meritorious Incentives Scheme (CBSE)
Eligibility Criteria –
- The student must have a domicile of Haryana.
- Meritorious students who secured 1st position in the annual CBE examinations will be eligible for this scheme.
- The school from where the students have passed their examination should be situated in Haryana.
- Students in class 10th must have secured 92% marks or more in English, science and technology, mathematics, social sciences and best one of the remaining subjects.
- Students in class 12th must have secured 90% marks and above in English and best four of the remaining subjects in science (medical & non-medical), commerce and arts.
Benefits –
- Class 10th CBSE Topper (one boy & one girl) – The entire fees shall be paid by the state government till the completion of their graduation. For students pursuing 10+2, the amount must not exceed ₹ 25,000 per year, whereas for students opting for a graduation, the amount must not exceed ₹ 1 lakh per year.
- Class 12th CBSE Topper (one boy & one girl) – The entire fees of the student shall be paid by the state government but this amount must not exceed ₹ 1 lakh per year.
9. State Merit Scholarship To UG/PG Students
Eligibility Criteria –
- The student must have a domicile of Haryana.
- The student must have secured at least a second division in the specified examination.
- Students pursuing their studies in a recognised institution in Haryana/Chandigarh are eligible.
Benefits –
- Matric Scholarship – The rate of scholarship is ₹ 150 per month for 700 eligible candidates.
- Class 12 Scholarship – The rate of scholarship is ₹ 300 per month for 500 eligible candidates.
- Degree Level Scholarship – Students pursuing a degree level education will receive ₹ 450 per month.
- BEd/MPhil/PhD Scholarship – Students pursuing BEd will receive ₹ 450 per month, whereas students pursuing MPhil/PhD will receive ₹ 900 per month.
10. Lower Income Group Scheme
Eligibility Criteria –
- The student must have a domicile of Haryana.
- The student must have an Indian nationality.
- Students who’ve passed their matriculation or any other equivalent examination or even higher examination of a recognized university are also eligible for this scholarship.
Benefits –
1. For Preparatory/Pre-University, I.Sc, I.A., I.Com., I.Sc. (Agr.), B.Sc., B.A., B.Com. courses – Hostellers shall receive ₹ 40 per month and day scholars shall receive ₹ 27 per month.
2. For Corresponding Oriental Language/Fine Arts Courses M.Sc., M.A., M.Com., LL.B., and Third Year Class in Hons. Courses. Corresponding Oriental Language/Fine Arts Courses – Hostellers shall receive ₹ 50 per month and day scholars shall receive ₹ 35 per month.
3. For D.Sc., D.Litt., Ph.D. – Hostellers shall receive ₹ 60 per month and day scholars shall receive ₹ 45 per month.
4. For Diploma/Certificate Courses in Agriculture Veterinary Science. Hygiene and Public/Health-Course, Sanitary Inspector’s Course, Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical Courses – Hostellers shall receive ₹ 40 per month and day scholars shall receive ₹ 27 per month.
5. For Diploma and Degree courses in Indian Medicine Teacher’s Training and Physical Education –
(a) Under-graduate Course – Hostellers shall receive ₹ 40 per month and day Scholars shall receive ₹ 27 per month.
(b) Post-Graduate Course – Hostellers shall receive ₹ 50 per month and day Scholars shall receive ₹ 35 per month.
6. For B.Sc. (Agr.), B.V.Sc. Diploma Course in Rural Services/Civil and Rural Engineering – Hostellers shall receive ₹ 50 per month and day Scholars shall receive ₹ 35 per month.
7. For Post-graduate Courses in Agriculture, Post Diploma Courses in Co-operation/Community Development – Hostellers shall receive ₹ 60 per month and day Scholars shall receive ₹ 45 per month.
8. Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor Pharmacy – Hostellers shall receive ₹ 65 per month and day Scholars shall receive ₹ 50 per month.
9. Diploma/Certificate Courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Medicine and courses for Overseers, Draftsmen, Surveyor, Electrician, Tool Maker and Wireless Operator – Hostellers shall receive ₹ 65 per month and day Scholars shall receive ₹ 50 per month.
10. Degree courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Medicine and B.A., M. & S. or other similar courses, Master of Pharmacy – Hostellers shall receive ₹ 75 per month and day Scholars shall receive ₹ 60 per month.
