New Delhi, 17 February 2023 – Bihar Scholarship 2023 – The Bihar government is offering INR 10,000 and INR 50,000 scholarships to girls who have completed their Class 12 and graduation, respectively.

Eligible candidates can apply on the Bihar government’s official websites. The deadline for applications is February 28, 2023.

The schemes that grant scholarships to 12th-pass girls and graduate-level girls are Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojna (Madhyamik + 2) and Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yonja (Snatak).

Bihar Scholarship 2023 – 12th Pass and Graduate Girls – Eligibility

• Unmarried girls from Bihar who have finished Class 12 in Science, Commerce, or the Arts in 2022 are eligible for the scholarship amount of INR 10,000. As many as 3,45,765 girls are expected to benefit from the scheme. A student will get this scholarship only once.
• Girls from Bihar who have finished their graduation will be eligible for the scholarship amount of INR 50,000. Around 1.5 lakh girls are expected to benefit from the scheme.
• Girls who get their graduation results after 31 March 2021 will be eligible for the INR 50,000 grant. Those awaiting results will be ineligible to apply.

Step 1: Candidates applying for the scholarship need to click on the Bihar government’s official website here.

Step 2: Students must read all the instructions carefully and click on the link that reads “Students Click Here To Apply” located at the bottom of the page.

Step 3: Candidates will then be redirected to a new page where they must click on the link that reads “Continue” at the bottom of the page after agreeing to the terms and conditions.

Step 4: Applicants then must register themselves by providing details such as their registration number, name, date of birth, total marks, marital status, Aadhar details, mobile number, email ID, and bank account details.

Step 5: Candidates will be sent a user ID and password to their registered mobile phone number and email address after verification.

Step 6: Using the user ID and password, students must log in to the portal and fill out the application form. They may download the form for future reference.

Step 7: After bank payment verification, the scholarship amount will be transferred to the candidate’s account.

Step 2: Candidates must click on the link that reads “Student Registration,” which is located at the bottom of the page.

Step 3: Candidates will then be redirected to a new page where they must click on the link that reads “Continue” at the bottom of the page after agreeing to the terms and conditions.

Step 4: Applicants are now required to verify themselves by providing details such as their name, university name, university registration or enrollment number, marksheet number, and father’s name.

Step 5: After verification, candidates need to register themselves by providing details such as mobile number, email ID, Aadhar number, and bank account details.

Step 6: Applicants must now submit the application form and save it for future reference. The scholarship amount will be transferred to the candidates’ bank accounts after due verification.
