UP Pre-Matric Scholarships Application Deadline Extended – Know More

The last date to apply for UP Pre-Matric Scholarships has been extended till 21st January 2021. On December 31, 2020, the Government of Uttar Pradesh announced the revised time-table for UP Pre-Matric Scholarships on its official portal ‘SAKSHAM’. The state government had introduced these scholarships with an objective to support the pre-matriculation studies of students belonging to General, SC, ST, OBC, and Minority communities. 

Scholarship Registration and Login

The students who are domiciles of Uttar Pradesh state and fulfil the requisite academic and financial criteria can apply for the scholarships mentioned below before 21st January 2021. 

  1. Pre-matric Scholarship for ST/SC/General Category, Uttar Pradesh
  2. Pre-matric Scholarship for Minorities, Uttar Pradesh
  3. Pre-matric Scholarship for OBC students, Uttar Pradesh

Furthermore, the other important dates related to UP Pre-Matric Scholarships have also been extended, the details of which have been given in the table below.

How to Apply? 

These scholarships are meant for students studying in Class 9 and 10. Follow the simple steps given below to make a successful application. 

Step 1: Visit the official website of UP SAKSHAM portal. 

Step 2: Click on the ‘Registration’ button under the ‘Student’ section and register on the portal.

Career Assessment Test

Step 3: Upon successful registration, login to the user dashboard and proceed with the scholarship application. 

Step 4: Fill in all required details and upload all necessary documents. 

Step 5: Submit the application.
