About The Program
Pre Matric Scholarship for SC, ST & General Students, Uttar Pradesh 2023-24 is an initiative of the Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh for students of Class 9 and 10. The scholarship aims to promote secondary education among the children of Uttar Pradesh and encourage them to complete their matriculation by providing financial aid to them. The selected candidates will receive financial assistance.

To be eligible, an applicant must -
- be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh
- belong to ST/SC/General category
- be studying in Class 9 and 10
- have a family income of not more than INR 1 lakh per annum

The selected students will receive financial assistance under the scheme.

- Residential proof (Aadhaar card, electricity bill, connection and gas bill, ration card, voter ID, pan card, or driving license)
- Caste certificate for caste validity
- Passport size photo
- Income certificate and proof
- Marksheet of previously qualified examination
- Current year fee receipt/admission letter
- Domicile certificate
- Birth certificate
- Student ID proof
- Bank passbook of students and parent
