Gujarat Scholarship – Key Eligibility

  • The students belonging to ST category and studying in class 11th to postgraduation can apply.

  • The student should not be a repeater in the same class for more than once.

24. War Concession Scheme, Gujarat
  • Wards of war martyred jawans who are studying in government or grant-in-aid institutions can apply for this scheme.
25. EBC Fees Exemption Scheme, Gujarat
  • The students who are currently studying at the graduate level can apply.
  • Full scholarships will be given to students who have obtained more than 60% marks in class 12th while half scholarship will be given to students who have obtained less than 60% marks in class 12th.
  • The annual family income should not exceed INR 2.50 Lakh.
  • For renewal, the student should secure minimum 50% marks at graduate level.

  • Students belonging to SEBC category and studying in class 11th or 12th can apply.
33. Instrumental Assistance for First-year Students of Medical/Engineering/Diploma Courses, Gujarat

  • The students of class 1st to 10th are eligible to apply.
  • He/she should belong to Valmiki, Hadi, Nadiya, Turi, Senva, Vankar Sadhu, Garo-Garoda, Dalit-Bava, Tirgar/Tirbanda, Turi-Barot, Matang and Thori community.
  • He/she should have at least 70% attendance in the school.

Gujarat Scholarship – Step-by-Step Application Guide

When it comes to the application of these scholarships, the one question that strikes your mind is – What is the application process to be followed to apply for Gujarat scholarships? While you can apply for Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana, Gujarat through its respective online portal, the application for Scholarships to the Disabled Students, Gujarat can be made offline through the office of District Social Security Officer. Besides this, the application for all other remaining scholarships can be made online through Digital Gujarat portal.

Here is a detailed step-by-step description of the online application procedure for digital Gujarat portal scholarships –

Step 1: Registering with Digital Gujarat Portal

  • Visit the official website of Digital Gujarat.
  • Click on the “Login” button.
  • New users can click on “Click for New Registration (Citizen)” while existing users can log in using their email id, Aadhaar number or mobile number.
  • New users will have to enter their details and save the information.
  • Once you save the information, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP to complete the registration.

Step 2: Update the profile

  • Once you fill the OTP, you will be directed to profile update page.
  • Enter all the mandatory information.
  • Upload your photograph and click on update.

Step 3: Applying for the scholarship

  • Login to your registered account and enter your dashboard.
