The CG scholarship portal provides various scholarships primarily for students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) who are domiciled in the state of Chhattisgarh. The scholarships available through the CG Scholarship Portal are listed below:

State Scholarship Scheme for SC, ST, and OBC Students Eligible girl students from Classes 3 to 5 will receive an annual scholarship of ₹500. For Classes 6 to 8, eligible SC/ST girl students will receive ₹800 per year, while boys will receive ₹600. Similarly, eligible OBC girl students will be awarded ₹450 annually, and boys will receive ₹300 each year. The applicant should either be a SC/ST student in Classes 3 to 5 or an SC/ST/OBC student in Classes 6 to 8. The applicant’s family should not fall under the income tax bracket and should not possess more than 10 acres of land.
Post Matric Scholarship for SC, ST, and OBC Students Eligible SC/ST hostellers will receive a scholarship of ₹3,800 and non-hostellers will receive ₹2,250 per year. Eligible OBC candidates will receive–For hostellers: ₹1,000 for students of Class 11 and ₹1,100 for Class 12 students. For non-hostellers: ₹600 per annum for students of Class 11 and ₹700 per annum for students of Class 12. The annual family income of the student should not exceed 2.50 lakh for SC/ST applicants and 1 lakh for OBC applicants. They must be studying at the post-matriculation level.
