The Telangana ePASS Scholarship or Telangana Electronic Payment & Application System of Scholarships is an initiative by the Telangana Government. It was created to help students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Minority, Backward Class, and Economically Backward Class (EBC) to pursue school and higher education. This scheme fee concessions upto 100% in pre-matric, post matric and overseas scholarship category. However, the students applying for this scholarship scheme must be a permanent resident of the state of Telangana.
There are various scholarships under this scheme like pre matric scholarship, post matric scholarship and overseas scholarship services. Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship online. The last date to apply for the Post Matric Scholarship is 31 January 2023.

Telangana ePASS Scholarship – Benefits
Telangana government has announced 100% reimbursement/payment of total tuition fees of the eligible candidates under this scholarship scheme. For the applicants who are paying their own school/academic fee, the government will pay INR 20,000 or the real cost of the course, whichever is lower.

Telangana ePASS Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be a permanent resident of the State of Telangana.
- Applicants must belong to the (Scheduled Castes (SC) /Scheduled Tribes (ST)/Backward Class (BC) /Economic Backward Class (EBC)/Minority category.
- Annual family income must not be more than INR 2 lakh for the applicants from SC/ST category, INR 1.50 lakh for applicants from rural area,INR 2 lakh for applicants from urban area and BC/EBC category and INR 1 lakh for physically challenged applicants.
- It is mandatory for all the applicants to have 75% attendance in each quarter to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
