Snehapoorvam Scheme – Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfil the following eligibility conditions to apply for the Snehapoorvam Scholarship:
- Children who have lost either one parent or both parents
- Students studying from Class 1 up to degree-level courses
- Children below the age of 5 years are also eligible
- Children belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families
- For Above Poverty Line (APL) families, annual income must be below ₹20,000 in rural areas and ₹22,375 in urban areas

Snehapoorvam Scheme – Application Process
Step 1: Students must visit the official website of Kerala Social Security Mission and download the application form.
Step 2: Students must fill out the application form and submit it along with the required documents to the head of their institution.
Step 3: The head of the institution will verify the details and upload the application to E-SURAKSHA Portal.
Step 4: After verification, the application is forwarded to the Executive Director, Kerala Social Security Mission for final selection.
Note: Children below 5 years of age can apply directly to the Executive Director through the respective Child Welfare Committees.
