New Delhi, 08 March 2022: The Higher Education Department of Odisha has issued a notice stating that the last date of submission for the online application forms for all categories of ‘e-Medhabruti’ and ‘Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasbruti’ scholarship 2021-22 has again been extended till April 5, 2022. The notice also mentioned further extension of the date of validation by heads of institutions and principals till April 20, 2022.
Previously, the submission of the online application form was scheduled for February 5, which was later extended to March 5. This is the second time the Odisha Higher Education Department has announced the postponement of the scholarship application deadline.
Note: This recent deadline extension was notified to the General Manager (Admin) of Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) through a letter by the Joint Secretary of the Higher Education Department, Prativa Sahu. The letter notified the admin about the deadline extension of the online scholarship application submission and for validation by the heads of the concerned institutions. The admin has further been requested to include the two recently extended dates on display on the state scholarship portal.
About Vyasakbi Fakir Mohan Bhasbruti Scholarship and e-Medhabruti Scholarship 2021-22
The Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti scholarship is awarded to students enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the language of Odia while the e-Medhabruti scholarship is granted to students pursuing graduate, postgraduate, technical as well as professional courses.
Note: As per The Higher Education Department, the requirement of online validation is mandatory for both the ‘Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti’ and ‘e-Medhabruti’ scholarships.

| Medhabruti Junior Merit Scholarship eligibility criteria | The candidate requires a class 10 certificate with 60% or more marks from a recognised institution by Odisha/ CBSE/ ICSE Board or equivalent.
The candidate must be enrolled in a regular +2 course of 10+2 pattern. |
| Medhabruti Senior Merit Scholarship eligibility criteria | The candidate requires a class 12 certificate with 60% or more marks from a recognised institution by Odisha/ CBSE/ ICSE Board or equivalent.
The candidate must be enrolled in a regular degree course/ +3 course from any recognised college/ institution/ university. |
