JBNSTS Scholarship 2023 – Eligibility Criteria
The Jagadis Bose National Science Talent Search Foundation mainly conducts exams which are highlighted below:
JBNSTS Junior Talent Search
- Candidates must have passed their class 10 (Madhyamik/মাধ্যমিক) or equivalent exam in 2022 with a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate.
- They must have been enrolled in Class 11 in the science stream in the current year in any school in West Bengal.
- Candidates must have opted for at least three subjects from the following: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Statistics, and Computer Science.
JBNSTS Senior Talent Search
- Candidates must have passed or be currently enrolled in Class 12.
- They must enrol in Science courses as part of an Undergraduate Programme (UG).
- Candidates must continue their UG studies in West Bengal starting from this year itself.
JBNSTS Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti (Junior)
- The candidate must be female.
- They must have completed their Class 10th from a recognised board with good marks.
- All candidates must be presently enrolled in Class 11th in the science stream.

- They must have completed their Class 12th from a recognised board with good marks.
- All candidates must be presently enrolled in any basic science degree programme in any institute in West Bengal.
JBNSTS Scholarship 2023 – Awards
- Selected candidates will be awarded INR 1,250 per month for 2 years (Classes 11 and 12).
- In addition to this, they will also receive a sum of INR 2,500 per annum as a book grant.
- Qualified candidates will be awarded Rs. 4,000 per month until the completion of their undergraduate course.
- Along with the basic scholarship amount, they will also receive Rs. 5,000 per annum as a book grant.

The syllabus for the JBNSTS Junior Talent Search Test is similar to that of any government-recognized school’s 10th grade curriculum. As per the syllabus to prepare for the JBNSTS exam, NCERT textbooks are advised to be followed when studying for the exams.

JBNSTS Scholarship 2023 – Selection Process
