Banaras Hindu University admission to UG and PG programs for the 2026–27 session is currently underway through CUET scores and the university’s separate Common Allotment Programme (CAP-2026). For admission in PG courses, the result for third and fourth rounds of seat allotment will be declared on June 22 and June 25, 2026, respectively.

BHU Admission 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for BHU Admission 2026 differs from one programme to another. Candidates must check the programme-wise requirements before filling the BHU admission form. The table below outlines the general eligibility criteria for UG and PG admissions:

Career Assessment Test

Foreign nationals applying for BHU admission 2026 must apply through the Foreign Students’ Registry. They are exempted from appearing in CUET-UG or CUET-PG. Admission under the foreign students’ category will be merit-based.

For undergraduate programmes, up to 25% supernumerary seats are reserved for foreign nationals. For postgraduate programmes, 15% supernumerary seats are reserved for foreign nationals.
