So you’re done with your Class 12 board exams? It’s time to let that wave of relief pass over you, and recognize the fact that it is temporary. For students looking to enroll in their course of choice for higher education, the board exams are but a small step along the way, and certainly not the last exam they would be taking for a while. If you are opting for a career in pharmacy, for example, you are required to go through some rigorous entrance examinations so that you get admitted to the college and course of your choice.

BITSAT 2018
One of the premier institutes of the country for professional courses, Birla Institute of Technology & Science Pilani conducts BITSAT every year for its undergraduate courses, one of which is B. Pharma. BITS Pilani holds the entrance test every year in the month of May.
To appear in BITSAT 2018, the candidates need to submit their applications online till 13 March 2018. The entrance test will be held online between 16 May 2018 to 31 May 2018.

Organised by Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan, a Deemed-to-be-University situated in Odisha, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Admission Test is conducted in the month of April every year for students aspiring to pursue professional undergraduate and postgraduate courses including pharmacy courses. This year the key date to apply for SAAT 2018 is till 10 April 2018.

BIT Mesra B. Pharma Entrance Exam 2018
A renowned institution of India, BIT Mesra offers both undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses. It uses NEET score to admit students to its B. Pharma programme. The form for the course is generally out during the month of April or May. This year date of availability of the application form is 30 April 2018.

The Government of Maharashtra conducts Common Entrance Test every year for admission to various professional courses which includes programmes in pharma. The forms for MHT-CET comes around every year in the month of January. This year you can submit the form till 25 March 2018.

GITAM, a Deemed to be University, is also one of the renown institutions of the country offering several undergraduate and postgraduate courses. If you are aspiring to pursue B. Pharma as your choice of course after Class 12, you need to appear for GITAM Admission Test which is generally conducted in the month of April every year. This year the last date to submit your application form is 26 March 2018.

These are some of the well-known entrance tests conducted in the country for admissions to undergraduate Pharma courses. Some institutions also provide financial aid to needy and meritorious students by offering scholarships.
