About The Program

The Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra invites applications from Class 12th passed students of Maharashtra for State Government Open Merit Scholarship 2017-18. A total of 1208 students admitted in Commerce, Arts, Law or Science graduate program will be benefitted under this scheme. 

EligibilityDeadline Date : Closed

To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must -

  • Be a resident of Maharashtra. 
  • Have obtained at least 60% marks in Class 12 examination. 
  • Have taken admission in arts, science, commerce or law graduate program. 

Note: For renewal applications, students must be promoted to the next class. 

 

How can you apply?

Eligible candidates can apply online for the scholarship through following steps -
Step 1: Click here to register as a new user. (Note: Candidate should have a mobile number registered with their Aadhaar card to ensure seamless and fast application process.)
Step 2: Complete the Aadhaar authentication process either through OTP or biometric. 
Step 3: The candidates will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number if they opt for OTP authentication.
Step 4: Complete the registration process by filling in all required details. 
Step 5: Log in using username or password. 
Step 6: Complete the application process for the scholarship.

Terms and Conditions

Award Details 

  • The fresh applicants, if selected, will receive a scholarship of INR 1000 per annum in the month of March. 
  • The applicants for renewal will receive a scholarship amount of INR 1200 per annum in the month of March. 

Note: The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of merit. 

Documents Required

  • Marksheet of Class 12 (for fresh applicants).
  • Marksheet of the last exam passed (for renewal applicants).
